Caritas - Monday Evening - Open

Yondaime hummed to himself as he went around the bar, cleaning up and doing general matenance stuff. Before he knew it, he was singing.

"♪♫ Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday morning, Monday morning couldn't guarantee
That Monday evening you would still be here with me~~♪♫"

It was just one of those days... that happened to be a Monday

"Well." Tony downed his drink, lifting the glass for another. "You can rest assured, I don't think of you as Captain America."

Steve shook his head and reminded him, "We're not dating."

"Am I asking to date you?"

"I certainly hope not."

"I don't do well past casual dating."

He waited for Steve to take a drink before...

"I wouldn't mind being pinned to the wall by you in the men's room though," Tony added. Helpfully.

Steve choked on his beer.

Tony smacked him on the back to help out with that, giving Tino a smile as he got another drink place in front of him.

Steve recovered--eventually--and said, "You're not as funny as you think you are."

"Who said I was joking?" Tony asked, showing just how little shame he had.

Steve nodded once, sharply, and said, "That's not going to happen."

"And why is that?"

Steve arched one eyebrow at him and said, "For about fifty different reasons."

"Is it because you think you'll try to kill me? Because I don't think that's very high up on my list of worries."

"No." Steve looked at the beer bottle instead of Tony. "I've already done that." He twitched a little and said, "To be fair, he was trying to kill me, too."

"And I'm not him."

Steve twisted to look at him. "No, but sometimes you're so like him I forget for a minute. This isn't simple to me, Tony."

Well.

Tony turned his head to give him a look. "With you? I doubted it would be."

Steve stared at him for a moment, then sighed and shook his head. "So what was your plan? Act like it is and maybe it'll all work out?"

"It's worked well so far."

"If you say so."

Tony took a sip of his drink. Well, not so much as a sup as swig. "So, what now?"

Steve shrugged. "I don't know. Got any ideas that don't involve the men's room?"

"Right now? Not really," Tony admitted. "I'd rather not piss off Tyler about this either."

Right. Tyler. "Of course you had to go and get a boyfriend before you hit on me."

"I don't have a boyfriend." Kinda. "It's an open relationship."
