Park, Thursday Morning
With graduation this weekend, the school expected most of the graduation guests to begin arriving today. So, to make sure they felt welcomed, the student council had set up a small gathering in the park where the guests could arrive, mingle and relax before heading off with their guests and friends.
There were finger foods on a long table and nametags on the table beside it. Chairs were set out for people to sit and talk if they so wanted.
It was time to get graduation weekend rolling!
[This is just a tiny mingling posts for all grad guests, alums, expats, students, teachers and townies to meet up and talk a little. There's going to be a garage sale later and we encourage you all to go to that as well!]

Re: Mingling
"I missed reanimated corpses?" she finally asked, an undercurrent of disappointment swimming below the drawl.

She paused, slightly, looking at him with a faint grin. "But at least you set the bar nice and low for these things."
Re: Mingling
That was mostly a joke too.
"You've got your choice of when to meet him. Before graduation or after graduation. He's planning on being around all weekend. Toby wants to meet him too."
Re: Mingling
Not that she--
Dog, who was she kidding? She felt a twitch in the fingers of her right hand again, her other fingers drifting over to lightly rub the nearly invisible red dot over her vein. She was used to fathers not liking her; it was the type of thing that, conversely to her use of it, meant maybe it'd be nice to have that change.
"And it's a pity you didn't invite Orleanna, too. Then I'm sure we could have all sat down to a nice little family lunch."
Nice little family lunch said with the sort of acidity reserved for root canals and having your limbs torn off or, to be topical about the whole thing, eaten alive by swarms of fireants.
