Unlike last week, Marshall's pants were thankfully sand free. He was celebrating that fact by...well, by actually showing up to work. Oh, and also by throwing olives at Tino. Call it weird smelling confetti.

It wasn't like Gibbs purposely sneaked up on Marshall. He just tended to naturally end up in people's blindspots.

Okay that's a lie. He liked sneaking up on Marshall. He got better reactions out him than he did with DiNozzo.

"Better hope those olives don't have pits," he said seriously. "You could take an eye out.

It was a good thing Marshall had a good hold on those olives otherwise they would have gone everywhere when he flailed.

"I am so buying you a collar with a bell on it!"

"You keep saying that," Gibbs said taking a seat at the bar. "But I haven't seen one show up yet."

And then Gibbs did something he rarely does. He admitted he was wrong.

"You were right about the alien thing. I owe you a drink. Bourbon?"

Marshall stopped mid heart attack to smile at Gibbs. "Sounds good."

He didn't drink hard liquor often but he could do it without crying thanks to Barney.

"Should I make it two?"

Rose was coming into the bar with a purpose. Luckily it was a purpose to get drunk so the bar could probably help her with that.

"Some kind of beer please and whatever my friend here is having," Rose said, watching in case she need to dodge an olive.

"Whatever's on tap," he said, going the easy route. He could just drink that until his eyes fell out or something. "Look at that, you didn't even need my help with this suggestion."

"And it was very nice of you," Rose said sweetly. She took a long sip of her beer as soon as Tino set them down. Lissa wasn't here. She didn't have to worry about it. "Is there a difference between a suggestion box and my suggestion box? Because I'm curious."

"No," he said after a moment. "There isn't. You just happened to ask me for suggestions tonight. Redundant use of words on my part. Grammar never really was my strong point."

Haley was checking out the bar by on her own, which kind of made her miss her friends back home. Regardless, she was determined to have a good time. Taking a seat at the bar and watching the one man throw olives at the other, she wasn't sure if she should interrupt. "Uh...could I get a Coors?"

Marshall threw one last olive at Tino before turning to Haley. "Sure thing. Draft or bottle?"

"Not a problem," Marshall said, grabbing a bottle and handing it to Haley. "I can throw olives at him any time I want."

"Thanks." Haley took the bottle as offered, taking a swig from it. "Any particular reason for it? You know, besides it being fun." Because Haley knew first and foremost that it was fun to mess with your friends.

Judging from the glare Tino gave Marshall just then, no, he didn't like it.
