Caritas - Tuesday Evening [Open]

Unlike last week, Marshall's pants were thankfully sand free. He was celebrating that fact by...well, by actually showing up to work. Oh, and also by throwing olives at Tino. Call it weird smelling confetti.

It was too hard to decide if that was a cop out or not so Rose settled for not. Probably. "See?" she teased. "You totally can share."

"Just not with words," he said, making no apologies. "I do my sharing in other ways."

"Fair enough," Rose said, too amused. She offered him her hand. "Deal."

It made sense to her.

She was so drunk. He didn't really care, though. He took the extended hand and shook it. "Sure, deal."

As long as he didn't have to talk, he was good.

Rose grinned brightly and jumped up. Too quickly, and she had to hold onto his hand to stay on her feet. "Should we go and see?"

"We should." Before she faceplanted on the bar floor. He kept a grip on that hand to make sure that didn't happen. "Are you good? Are you going to end up leaning on me?"

"Nope," she said proudly. She totally was. "I'm going to walk up there all by myself."

"Sure, you are," he said but kept a hold of her hand anyway even as he headed for the door. "Sure, you are. You're lucky it's only two flights of stairs."

"If you lived on the fifth floor, you'd be screwed," Rose told him, holding on his hand tightly.

"I can't argue with that," he said and laughed. "Two flights and I'll share my blankets. Lucky you."

"Two flights and you get me sharing your blankets," Rose contradicted, laughing. "Lucky you."

"Lucky us both," he compromised and hit the door to Caritas, tugging her with him. "Come on."
