The Boards - Thursday, 6/23 - REHEARSAL!
Anyone who came to rehearsal would notice the store-bought brace in Geoffrey's ankle, as well as the fact that he was hobbling around. Someone had missed a puddle of sludge and slipped in it this morning.
"Thank you very much, all of you, for your help last Thursday. Rest assured, that will not happen again, and we should be able to proceed with rehearsals sans mops. We're finishing the play up for the first time on stage today, so considering that, if anyone has any choreography experience, they really should talk to Tony."
He grinned and slapped his hands together.
"And now? Let's get this show on the road."
[ocd up!]

And, noting Geoffrey's ankle brace, Harper resolved to be very careful until the play was over. That might be a tall order, considering how clumsy she was.
Re: Off-Stage
Occasionally he licked his own eyeball, in between crumbs.

Mmmmmm. Sugar. She was doing a spazzy little dance with just the lower half of her body; this could be disaster once she had more of the mostly-sugar syrup from the cup she was holding.

Rehearsal - Act 5
Please make sure to specify if you're doing a scene with another player (usually best to arrange that) or if you'd like to deal with Geoffrey. Just pick a place as you like (such as certain phrase or line of dialogue or event) that you'd like to deal with and start there. If you just want to let us know how you did for the day without interacting, feel free to use a performance style post. Any questions, poke the OOC thread.
Re: Rehearsal - Act 5
This was the hard part. She didn't have it yet. She was sure she would by the time of perforomance, but... And it was such a *tiny* part of the overall thing, so why worry about it, right?
Had he his hurts before?
Asking Ross if Stewart's son was stabbed in the back, running away. Or if he'd stood and fought. And she got this in her head, she'd been dealing with guys like this for six months. She just... it was his kid, how could Stewart be able to ask that?
At the confirmation, she said:
Why then, God's soldier be he!
Had I as many sons as I have hairs,
I would not wish them to a fairer death.
Was he lying, to comfort his king? Was he so obsessed with honor that he really believed this?
And so, his knell is knolled.
She looked over at Geoffrey, and knew it wasn't working. Did not hit herself with the script. Hey, progress. Keep going...

But something funny started happening as he spoke. First, his voice got a little rough. And then it became hoarse.
And then it stopped working altogether.
And no matter ho he tried, he couldn't get a single. Sound. Out.
Oops.
