Tyler barely glanced at Ghanima before he went toward the combatants this week.

"I think half the town's out of town," he said. "Me and him. You two. You and you, you and you. And this is Fred Dukes. He has something to say before we start. Fred?"

Fred wiped the back of his mouth with his ham of a hand. "I'm Fred Dukes, and I'm here to provide a damn public service. You think hitting a bag is fine and good, but it ain't anything like hittin' a person. That's where I come in. You need experience hitting a person, but ain't ready or wanting them to hit back? That's what I'm for. Though you make any disrespectful jokes, I get to punch you one right in the kisser." He looked over at Tyler. "That good enough for ya?"

"Perfect," Tyler smirked, and started pointing around the gym. "Matches there, practice there, Fred here. No makeup this week. Let's go."

Ghanima just rolled her eyes and went over to work with her trainees. Boys. So violent.

Claire was hoping she would be able to find someone to spar with today. It felt like a sparring kind of day.

Triela was there in her usual Fight Club ensemble of sweatshirt, sweat pants, and fingerless gloves. She looked around and stretched a bit.

Minsc was here! So was Boo! There was a great need for exclamations and italics, as well, since it felt like they hadn't been able to put their best foots forward for Fight Club in a while! But they felt so good about it today and could not wait!

Turtle felt like she'd been neglecting Fight Club a little too much lately, but what could you do when you owned three branches of a store, had college applications to send out, a soft campaign to start, and countless other things keeping you busy, busy, busy? All that business just told her that today, she was really going to make sure she stretched out well and took the chance to breathe a little. It was niiiiice.

Daisy breathed deep as she stretched, extending her meditation a little to the Fight Club mats. So far, today had turned out fine, almost as if things were going back to normal, but who knew what Monday held? She just hoped that today's normal day would signify that tomorrow would be normal again, too.

Normal for Fandom, anyway.
