Ben didn't know why the Zombie Bass Player had a falcon on his arm. More importantly, Ben really didn't want to know.

All he did know was that he wasn't going to be the one to get the arm back when the inevitable happened.

Adrian had been in town roughly about fifteen minutes before finding the bar. He had his priorities straight since he thought he would probably end up spending a lot of time here anyway. Might as well make friends.

Finding a comfortable spot at the bar, he began the process of ending the current sobriety. "Scotch."

"That's the kind of question that would lead me to ask what kind of bar you're running here." He looked amused anyway, since he didn't realize that he had to be specific about things here.

"Why, it's the kind of bar where silly questions are encouraged, of course," Ben said, putting the drink down in front of Adrian.

"Been sipping a few back there yourself?" he guessed, taking his drink. Not that he had a problem with the bartender sneaking a few. In fact he liked that better.

"Hi, Jonas!" Sookie said cheerily, waving over from her own barstool. "What brings you out tonight?"

Adrian didn't realize she was speaking to him at first but she'd caught his eye anyway, even without the wave. You noticed pretty girls at bars or you were doing something wrong. "That's not my name, but I'd be more than happy to talk with you anyway," he said with a smile.

"...oh." Sookie was momentarily confused. "Sorry, I know someone who looks just like you." Though now that she noticed, he looked a little older than Jonas. "Sorry! Um, I'm Sookie."

Sookie felt like taking herself out for the night, and found herself a seat at the bar.

She paused, initially thinking she'd order a Coke or something, but at the last minute, she decided, "Gin and tonic, please?"

What? She liked those.

Jonothon... Wasn't here to drink, no. And just being at the bar seemed to be something of a tease, really. But he'd made plans to hang out with a pair of lovely ladies, and he really couldn't deny that there was a certain sort of ambiance that one could only find lingering about in a drinking establishment.

And so he found himself a place to sit, and he eyed the import beer list longingly while he waited for Jean and Didi to join him.

So, it was the beginning of an... interesting evening when Jean and Didi walked into the bar to meet up with Jono.

Didi ran her thumb down Jean's palm as she all but tugged the other girl over toward Jono.

"Hi, Jono!" she greeted. "We had to go to the party, but now we're here."
