There probably wasn't a lot of arriving or mingling expected from Dimitri. At the proper hour, he emerged from his office and set to work stretching out and observing.

Technically speaking, it was Jaina's birthday, and once she was called, she realized she was spending it getting beat up by God. And then after that it would be off to Caritas for the most pathetic twenty-first "celebration" ever, but at least no one could yell at her that she didn't go out.

But if anyone asked, she would probably be completely fine, if a little quiet. She'd blame that on knowing she was going to get her ass kicked.

As he hadn't been assigned a fight today, Leto was prepared just to watch, unless he got a good offer for a fight. He didn't mind mingling, however.

Kyle had to admit curiosity about how this fight was going to go.

Not that there was any doubt he was going to win this one. No offense to Jaina, there just wasn't, but he didn't know how good she was hand-to-hand.

Anakin had missed the last couple of weeks, but he was here today, half because he really needed the workout and half to see if his granddaughter was still alive since she'd missed seeing him for the past few office hours.

...not that he was worried. Really.

She figured she'd probably end up being in charge of Fang for a while, once she heard Firekeeper's name called . . . and then proceeded straight to utterly intrigued when she heard Jaina's match announced.

This was going to be an interesting evening.

So no assigned match for Kennedy this week, and she was a little disappointed about that, but when was that new?

This was not a deterrent from doing her own warmups and then running through some drills in the corner before checking out the assigned matches.
