Groovy Tunes, Tuesday
Another semester. Jono found himself wondering as he poked through the CD displays exactly how in the world he'd managed to survive his first one, and how in the world he was going to make it through his second.
But all of that would come, he supposed. If nothing else, he could always come and hang around here.
He put a sign in the window, saying that he'd give half-off any purchase for the low price of one song recommendation, and then he grabbed a disc at random and put it on to give it a listen. Silverchair. He could live with that.

The music in the store was unfamiliar, but not bad at all. "Hello," she said when she found Jono.

//Good day, luv,// he said, and somewhat amiably so. //How is th'new semester treatin' yer?//
... This seemed easier at the moment than dealing with the, 'so, about that sex while we were both completely insane' thing right away.

"Not badly," she admitted. "I'm glad to have sommat to do again. What about you? Do you have interesting classes?"
no subject
Oh, yes, he did look amused at the name of that course. And possibly as though he was half-convinced that he knew his way around the subject matter already.

Not that any class or fight club or jog around the island were making her feel like she was doing enough.

Not when even the veggies here homicidal.

Which wasn't to say that he didn't like the holidays. It was more that he was thankful that they were good and over until next December.
Or until Valentine's.

Said the guy who was only here in the first place because he'd been swallowed by mist that led to an alternate reality that was populated by fairies and their slave-leprechauns. Yes.

"The books didn't hurt you, did they?"
And there was another very odd question.
no subject
//Aside from a few bumps here and there, not really. They were more interested in the biscuits that th'new librarian was tossing their way.//
Also an odd statement.
no subject
Yep, that was still kind of odd.
"... why did he do that?"
no subject
Oh, Special Collections.
