Homecoming Carnival Post II | Park | Friday | October 22

The Homecoming Carnival was in full swing and decorated according to the theme: blues and greens of all sorts, and little fish decorations everywhere.

But that wasn't the important part, oh no.

The important part was how much fun could be had at all of the booths! Step up, step up! Take your chances!

Really, who would want to miss this?

It took a moment, but then the lightbulb went off for Jason. "Oooh. Greek, duh," he said, smirking. "That's cool, that means you get to make out with twice as many people."

"That's the way I see it," he said. "Oh, and by the way, I'm here to kiss you. Just in case you hadn't picked up on that."

Luke didn't think Jason had so he figured he'd be friendly and spell it out.

That was very nice of Luke because no, Jason hadn't pieced that one together yet.

"You mean like, for the booth?" Jason asked, feeling strangely weird about making Luke pay.

"Oh, okay. I, uh, could give you a discount too," Jason said. He wasn't sure why he felt so weird about this - it was just a kiss, after all - but... "I've never kissed a guy before though. You know, fair warning."

Luke smiled slightly before leaning in to kiss Jason. And for the first time in a while he noticed that Jason looked like Percy. That brought up some weird feelings he didn't want to think about too closely.

Jason had some pretty weird feelings going on too, but he was trying to ignore them as he kissed Luke back. It really was like kissing a girl, except that Luke probably knew more than any of the girls Jason had kissed.

He had been kind of a slut back at camp, yeah. Luke had to admit Jason was a pretty good kisser for someone who had never kissed a guy before. He at least wasn't as cold or nervous as Nico.

And he didn't radiate death either, that was nice.

But like with Nico, Luke didn't want to make him uncomfortable, so he pulled back after a few moments with a smile on his face. "Told you it wasn't all that different."
