Groovy Tunes, Tuesday
Jonothon didn't breathe. Jono didn't have little things like 'internal organs,' and so you would think that he would be immune to little things like hormone-pollen, as a result. And, in the most technical sense, you would be absolutely right.
Jonothon was also a being made of almost pure psionic energy, surrounded by people, not only teenagers, who were almost all feeling the effects of that pollen, and who tended to project their emotional states, sometimes loudly and very urgently.
Jonothon hated everything, ever, and was sitting behind the counter with narrowed pure-white eyes, a kitten in his lap, and very angry music playing very loudly.
The Groovy Tunes is open, and decidedly uncomfortable today, curse you all.
[Open and around!]

//Not always,// he agreed. //If I worked with it more, maybe I could, but it's not th'sort of... I mean, it's... I don't want to just...//
Mm, floundering.
//There's not actually much about what I can do that I'm terribly comfortable with,// he admitted, after taking a moment to reassess what he was trying to get at, while Joni licked at his cheek. //Except speak, I suppose. And even that gets people... jumping, generally.//

Seriously. There was a kitten licking his cheek. How could any bad feeling in the world be more powerful than that?

//Honestly, I think that's something that I need to work a little harder on,// he admitted.
Yeah, being chipper was not exactly his forte.

"I think you do pretty okay," she offered fondly.

Hey, if he was going to be honest, he might as well go all-out.

//You know. When th'situation arises,// he amended.
