Our Lady Of Fandom - Saturday Evening
Seifer had spent that morning getting the church in order, and this evening he was there again. Right there, in the front, kneeling down and praying with his rosary in hand. He was praying that the Lord would forgive him for the lust and depravity that this town brought into his mind. It was just so hard to resist sometimes, and he needs his God's love and guidance to do so.
Not that his focus on his own troubles would stop him from helping anyone who came through the doors. He was there to serve. Whether it be to calm a troubled soul, ease a hurting heart, or perform a marriage ceremony or two.
It seemed Fandom was rather obsessed with marriages.
[Yep, open post for you all]

Re: Speak with Father Seifer
He couldn't. "Kneel with me, and we'll pray for you to be able to turn your eye from such... beautiful things and toward more... acceptable, pretty, Godly things."
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
Like priests? Jonothon settled on that thought for a moment, and then shook his head. Shame on him. Shame... And yet...
He stepped up beside the good Father, put his knee down on the rest in front of the pew. Bowed his head.
"Acceptable ones..."
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
It was debatable if he was talking about Jonothon or himself, because things were, heating up, with him being so close to this very handsome and tortured soul. "Please give him strength to resist temptations he should not seek."
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
There was a mournful note in Jonothon's voice. Something low and sad and tortured and foreign. British. Musical. Rock-and-roll.
Hungry.
Those musician's fingers, long and lithe and perfect, went white-knuckled for a moment as he clasped his hands together even more tightly.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
Yeah, bring God into it. That'll help.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
ALL ABOUT HIM.
"... I certainly wouldn't want to do anything to displease the good Lord."
SEE?
"Or you, Father."
... Mostly about God, then.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
"Say three Hail Marys and four Our Fathers and recite the Act of Contrition. Pray and reflect, and if you still need... guidance, I will be in my office, away from prying eyes."
If he paused for just a moment too long before slowly walking away, no one would say anything.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
A smile toyed at his lips as he watched the priest leave the room. And, for a moment, he even made a point to recite at least a little of what had been handed to him.
"Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee..."
And that was about it.
A moment later, he was on his feet, looking around. Surely he wouldn't be seen. Surely he would be forgiven for this... this lust that coursed through him. If the Lord had sent him to this place, to such a beautiful person, then how could this be anything but God's will?
He would write a song about this later. That would be his absolution.
For now, he was knocking softly on the Father's door.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
As he shut the door behind them, the light slowly faded to black in the classic fadeout.
