Our Lady Of Fandom - Saturday Evening
Seifer had spent that morning getting the church in order, and this evening he was there again. Right there, in the front, kneeling down and praying with his rosary in hand. He was praying that the Lord would forgive him for the lust and depravity that this town brought into his mind. It was just so hard to resist sometimes, and he needs his God's love and guidance to do so.
Not that his focus on his own troubles would stop him from helping anyone who came through the doors. He was there to serve. Whether it be to calm a troubled soul, ease a hurting heart, or perform a marriage ceremony or two.
It seemed Fandom was rather obsessed with marriages.
[Yep, open post for you all]

Pray for your sins!
Re: Pray for your sins!
Stupid baby was sooooo not her problem now.
Or his!
It could be anyone, okay!
Re: Pray for your sins!
very bad touchinggood father was locking up for the night when he found the basket on the steps. The baby was sleeping peacefully inside, and Seifer sighed when he realized what it was.He was going to have to make a phone call to deal with this little... dilemma.
Speak with Father Seifer
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
He had a problem. A deep, visceral problem which made his heart pound in his ears and his breath catch, and all he needed in the entire world was absolution.
Was there absolution in the world for the likes of him?
"Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned."
There had better be, because a jawline that hot would have been a sin to hold a grudge against, God.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
And he was not thinking about how hot the guy this poor soul reminded him of, was.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
"I have an addiction, Father," he said, after a moment taken to steel himself, to catch his breath and, with glistening eyes, come to terms with the horrible truth which he was about to confess. "For years I've battled with it, for years I've let it eat away at who I am, let it control my life. But now... Now, I realize that I must face it. I must become the man that I know I can be!"
His bottom lip trembled. But only a little.
He could be strong.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
"I am glad that you feel this way, dear man. Let me help you on the path of recovery. Tell me of your addiction and sins so we may absolve you of them."

"SEIFER!!! Before you go any farther with this tragic farce, I just want you to know you've rejected ROYALTY!!! That's right, I'm a prince, baby!"
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
"Tragic farce? There is nothing either tragic or a farce about the path I have taken, Squall," Seifer gritted out as he wiped away that jezebel tear. He turned to stare at the man behind him. "I am a man of God, I have taken my vows and been accepted by my Lord and he loves me, unlike some people."
The royalty thing finally kicked in, and Seifer's eyes widened for a brief moment before he turned away, waving a hand in dismissal. "Whatever."

Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Wayne!
This time, they wouldn't tell anyone, and she'd poison him properly.
"Father?" Lucrezia cried out, entering the church in an exquisite gown of white and gold. She always had beautiful wedding gowns. "This wonderful man and I wish to be married."
Technically, they wished to be re-married. They might even still be married, legally. And they had both married other people in the interim, and not necessarily divorced or killed off all of them.
These were boring technicalities. It was a wedding!!!

Re: Wedding! Borgia (etc) / Wayne!
"We can certainly get you both married today, good people. We just need a witness..."
Or a really good bribe. "For official purposes, you know."

Wow, that priest was cute.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
Don't mind if his robes are a little rumpled. It's been a long, long day.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
Or both!

A young, beautiful woman, clearly frightened by the way she was trembling and staring out over her shoulder, dashed into the church, the remains of a nun's habit in tatters around her.
"Sanctuary, Father, sanctuary!" she gasped, throwing herself at his feet. "Please, I beg you, sir! Sanctuary!"
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
He was going to have to double up his prayers tonight. And at this rate, he wouldn't be going to bed. At least not to sleep.
"Sister, my dear sister. Of course you may have sanctuary. What has happened to you?"
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
She pulled out a large diamond ring on a chain out from under her shirt to show Seifer. The camera panned in on it, catching the light sparkling from every facet. This diamond might somehow be...important.
"The nuns raised me to be a pious daughter of the church, even though I have always longed to be free--yearned for something more. And...perhaps...this is why..." She turned away, tears in her eyes. "Perhaps this is my punishment for wishing for a life outside the nunnery's hallowed halls."

"Father?" she called out, upon entering the church. She hadn't seen him yet. Which was good ... especially since the musical cue hinted that something dramatic was going to happen.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
"Rinoa? Where have you been? I have been so worried about you."
Yep. Worried. Worried she would show up at the wrong time.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
No. No! It was one of the faces from her vague flashback! Maybe? Was it?
Whoever it was, this person seemed to know her! That should have been a relief, but somehow, instead, it inspired panic.
"Who are you?!" she demanded. "What do you want with me???"

OOC
Re: OOC
IF you decide to do the wedding thing (and on this weekend, they will) put it in 'Talk To Seifer' and put WEDDING in the subject. :D
