Our Lady Of Fandom - Saturday Evening
Seifer had spent that morning getting the church in order, and this evening he was there again. Right there, in the front, kneeling down and praying with his rosary in hand. He was praying that the Lord would forgive him for the lust and depravity that this town brought into his mind. It was just so hard to resist sometimes, and he needs his God's love and guidance to do so.
Not that his focus on his own troubles would stop him from helping anyone who came through the doors. He was there to serve. Whether it be to calm a troubled soul, ease a hurting heart, or perform a marriage ceremony or two.
It seemed Fandom was rather obsessed with marriages.
[Yep, open post for you all]

Re: Speak with Father Seifer
He paused and turned to look at Squall. "Where is my... or rather, your girlfriend anyway?"

Re: Speak with Father Seifer
Seifer stared off into the distance, somewhere behind Squall. "I miss Zell. I was only using you as a replacement for him." He looked straight at Squall now. "And then Rinoa, because you just weren't enough."
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
Because that was the important thing.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
How could Squall not know that Seifer had been pining for him the whole time?
He seemed to gather himself, and the light around him seemed to get darker and ominous. "I blame it on you. Even your virgin girlfriend was better at sex than you. And at least she picked up the cues and could be taught."
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
The light darkened ominously around him, too. "You won't blame me, Seifer. You can't blame me. I won't let you. You're too important for that."

"...And for me."
Somewhere, a scriptwriter and an editor were locked in a heated argument over whether a line could still be powerful if even the person who wrote it had no idea what it meant.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
"I am no more important than any other man, woman or child on this earth, Squall. And my heart aches that you cannot accept that we are all equal and that love means more than anything."
He paused for a moment, looking concerned. "Love and God."
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
The writer, having been told off for not making sense, was apparently stooping to plagiarizing
Rod StewartEnglish rock band Free.(Edited because I apparently had no idea which version was the original.)
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
"I cannot trick you into something you are incapable of feeling."
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
When she'd canceled his Showtime subscription.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
"You have difficulty with emotion, Squall. If it doesn't revolve around you, you want nothing to do with it."

Re: Speak with Father Seifer
Squall reached a hand up towards Seifer's cheek. "You're being selfish again," he chided.
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
"Shhhhhhh," Squall hushed softly, leaning in to kiss the tears away. "Let's not have this fight again. Not here, not now."
Re: Speak with Father Seifer
Seifer leaned into the kisses and smiled sadly. "Let's not. I just, want to be close to someone again. To have someone hold me again."
And he would totally use this to fuel more distance between Squall and Rinoa.
