The Park, Monday Evening

Portals elsewhere might break, send you to the wrong planet, or leave you hanging; this one was forever faithful to its own schedule.

Sadly, for those denizens of the island who might have grown attached to their children, that meant it was time to say goodbye. The portal popped up blazing purple in the center of the park, calling to those it had taken here just a few days ago.

Time to go, time to go home, children.

"I'll be back," Peach promised, hugging back pretty fiercely. "Don't think you're getting rid of me that easy."

Caled poked Peach in the shoulder until he let go. "D'you think we will?" he asked Ronan, as he took his own hug. "Come back, I mean. We can't all happen, right?"

Ronan shrugged. "You all happen somewhere," he pointed out. "But no, I don't think you'll all happen to the same me. Kinda hard, really -- too many different circumstances."

He grinned at them, though. "Don't think that means you get out of visiting, though."
