Caritas- Tuesday

It was still a little weird reconciling what the place was last week with what it always had been. That said, Kitty was also taking advantage of it with the special.

Say the password, get a free drink!

Of course, as the password was "Hawkeye" there were probably a select few who'd guess it if they didn't already know it. Blame Clint, okay?

Sia had been a pretty sheltered person when it came to this sort of thing, so she still thought this was a bad idea. But she figured that dying had allowed her one free bad idea and doubted anyone would argue with her on that.

She found a seat, purposely not staring too much at the zombies, and waited for Atton.

Atton had been... way down the bar for a while there. Eventually he noticed her, slunk out of the shadows and sat his ass down next to her. "You in a bar," he said. "Now there's something I didn't think I'd actually see."

Atton shrugged. "Hey, last time I tried to get you to calm down and relax, you turned into a cat," he reminded her.

Atton had been here since last night, in his estimation. (Okay, there had been the five hours or so of terrible, nightmare-tortured sleep, but he was going to be the smart one and not think about that.)

He ordered another one. Why not?

After going to class with Emma, Clint definitely needed a drink, and seeing the sign immediately boosted his mood. "You know, I honestly didn't believe until right now that you'd do the password thing."

"Hawkeye," he said, grinning as he sat down. "Thankfully, I didn't get hit in the head that hard this weekend."

"I'll just take a beer. And no, I didn't quite get concussed, but I got kicked pretty good. It's how my partner knocked that damn curse out of me." Clint smirked softly. "I do like how all of those aches went away when everything went normal again too."

Britta, thinking herself very clever indeed, strolled by the bar, saw the sign, marched in and perched on a stool as she proudly, confidently said, "The password."

What? Technically, that's what the sign said, okay? Booze her up, somebody.

"Beats me," Britta said, shrugging, because, really, if she could have thought about it, anyone could have, but there were more important matters at hand. "So, do I get to pick the free drink, or am I stuck with just some cheap beer?"

And she actually liked cheap beer, so she'd be good either way.

Kenzi put down a twenty, then spread her arms apart on the bar. "Shots from here to here, boss lady."

"And celebrating," Kenzi confirmed. Some of the could've-happeneds had hit her last night, making sleep incredibly difficult. But she was going to get past it the best way possible. "Vodka!"

Tino pointed at her from the other end of the bar. "... I know, I know, I owe you still, okay?"

"Are you stiffing my bartender?" Kitty asked, pouring the vodka. She'd give the drinks this time even if Kenzi did owe money mainly because this was the week for that kind of altruism.

The NBA has spoiled me. I'm watching France/Argentina and keep wondering why they're at like 30 points going into halftime.

Shorter periods, different rules, and 6 NBA players between the two teams. Only two of which are great. (Parker and Ginobli, both Spurs.)
