Solo-Stark/Swaddlepants Wedding- The Park- Sunday afternoon

It was Jaina's thirteenth wedding (...second marriage) and you might think that meant the wedding might be less extravagant than the last twelve, but no. Not when the Winchesters and Starks were destroyed and she had Skywalker money at her disposal. The outdoor wedding (as it was a suspiciously perfect day for it being November) was elaborate and perfect, and the whole town should be in attendance, because that was how things worked (because there were dresses that had to be shown on camera, okay).

Now as long as no long-lost relatives showed up, no one died, a freak storm didn't happen, no one fell into a coma, no one got arrested, there were no catfights in the pond, nothing exploded, or no one in the wedding ran off with their real true love, it would be a perfect day.

Tony Stark Benedict Swaddlepants was ready to finish this damned feud once and for all. Finally, vengeance would be had for all those in his family that had been crushed beneath the boot of the Skywalker clan. Finally!

But, if anyone asked, his cackling was out of joy for this wedding.

Cade had worn a tuxedo (because of course all guys who came to town on motorcycles to blackmail relatives they'd never met also brought tuxedos) and was sitting near the back, the better to glare at Luke when he showed up.

In his proper mind, Bruce might normally use his independent wealth to force his way into the wedding party. But with his amnesia, he didn't even know to do so.

But then something weird happened. As it turned out, there was nothing in the world more familiar to a member of the Fandom upper crust than a Jaina Solo wedding and that was more than enough to wipe away amnesia.

"I REMEMBER! I REMEMBER EVERYTHING!" Bruce declared. "My wife must be here!"

And then he started scanning the crowd for whoever that was.

[OOC: Anyone want to be his current wife? Step right up!]

Annie was so excited. She was running away with Victor! She just had to get through the wedding and the concert and then they could be together! And she'd never have to take off her clothes for money again, because he was sure to take care of her.

It was the best day. Nothing could go wrong!

Olivia had found herself a veil to cover her disgusting, ephelides-ridden skin, and a place to sit near the back. She could always find happiness in the joy of others, even if she was denied it herself.

Someone who was most definitely not Charles Stark-Bass was sitting in a prime wedding-interrupting spot, seething. Since he didn't have a scarf to twirl between his fingers he was showing his frustration through steepling his fingers and glaring at the wedding decorations. They deserved it, they were tacky.

Maybe he'd find another guy in a wheelchair to knock over before the ceremony started.

Peter had been waiting to make his appearance. He had been waiting for the perfect time...

...and he was still waiting, HIDING behind the curtains.

Why there were curtains outside wasn't anyone's business but Peter's, okay.

Atton was in attendance to keep his eyes on Luke - and make sure the man did as he was told!

He was also wearing a tuxedo. A leather one. (His actor really hated the costume department. It was mutual.)

Even with her rare tropical disease that was killing her, Stacey showed up for the wedding, even if she looked a bit frail. She tried not to be too upset, but this was just a reminder of all the things she'd never had... because she was going to die young, without ever really having known true love.

Mia took a seat in the audience, dressed in black with a veil over her face to look mysterious. She knew she was a long-lost member of the Skywalker clan, and this wedding would be the perfect time to announce it.

Hopefully Sia didn't regain control and ruin things for her...

Jessica was sitting in the back.

With popcorn. She didn't know what was going to happen, but she had a feeling it was going to be great.

Sister Sarah was here to see that at least one relationship on this island got God's blessing.

She looked ready to lecture just about anyone about the immorality of their ways. Which was funny when you considered the sluttiness of her clothes. But those were so she could relate better to her flock! And definitely not because she'd been a stripper until very recently. No sir.

Just like part of the reason she was here wasn't that she was hoping to see the father of her unborn child and talk sense into him. Right.

There was a little orphan baby in a bassinet in the back. Aww. Wookit the innocent widdle baby with the face of a forty-something man. Isn't he cute?

That clicking you heard was most likely the rattle in the baby's hand. It was most certainly not a master assassin loading an unheard number of weapons.

Tyrion lurked near the back, patting the gun under his clothes discreetly. He wasn't getting paid to kill anybody this year, but you could never be too prepared in his line of work.

Eric showed up in his best wedding attire--black leather pants, no shirt--placed a card with a refundable gift certificate to T&C (he'd been to a few of these weddings, all right) on the correct table and found a spot in the sunlight to sparkle in.

Jaye didn't get enough screen time these days, so she was at the wedding pretty much because the fans might wonder where she was if they never showed her. She was sandwiched in somewhere towards the back, just close enough to those they'd be closing in on, but not so close that people might think she was actually part of the action.

On this, the day of his granddaughter's wedding (again), Anakin was up front and center with his bodyguards. He wasn't too pleased with this alliance with the House of Swaddlepants, but at least it wasn't a Stark, or God forbid, a Winchester.

Luke was there with his American flag lapel pin, gladhanding all guests who weren't members of his family and privately wondering how long this wedding would go before someone got shot.

He hoped it wouldn't be him.

Zayne was here to offer passive aggressive support for the family who had turned their backs on him so cruelly. Also, sexual favors in the bathroom for anyone who wanted to take advantage of discounted rates during the wedding.

Busy day, all things considered.

Re: Aftermath

[identity profile] cataclysmicluck.livejournal.com 2012-11-05 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
"The Skywalkers were destroyed much sooner than I thought they would be," Zayne said to himself, but loud enough for the boom mike to pick it up. "I'm going to stop whoring and start a new business with all of my business school savings! There's a vacuum to be filled, and who better to fill it than me?"

He did have experience filling things from all the prostitution, after all.
