It was back to black tank tops and the leather pants with the cutouts today, because Kitty had resigned herself to having a really terrible week and she kind of needed the badass feeling this sort of outfit came with. And while Kitty was having a terrible week, Tino had moved on to mourning the loss of the stripper pole, so there was mutual reason for tonight to be a drink experiment night. They'd just mix things together and try the results to see how it turned out.

It was rare that Tino ever made anything good. And that was also why someone should probably take Kitty's phone before Clint got any tipsy texts.

Not that Allie had been sulking since coming back to her senses on Sunday...Oh who are we kidding. There had been epic levels of sulking going on since Sunday evening. Allie needed a distraction or she was going to stake herself.

Taking a seat at the bar, Allie propped her chin on her hand and sighed. "Sometimes I really hate this place."

"I am in total agreement," Kitty said. "What happened to you?"

"I was human and leaving for Harvard to go study to be a surgeon in a few weeks," Allie replied. "And apparently I had some angsty, tortured thing going on with Kaidan."

And that would be Allie's head gently hitting the bar top a few times.

Kitty helpfully tried to slip a small stack of cocktail napkins onto the bar to cushion Allie's forehead.

"So you're probably having a great few days," she inferred.

Allie left her head on her cocktail napkin pillow for a long moment before finally picking her head up. "Is it wrong that I would have rather been back in the dungeon?"

"I kind of had the same thought," Kitty admitted. "So even if it's wrong, at least you're not alone there."

"Hey, Allie," Mike nodded with one of those easy smiles of his. Possibly because his weekend had been just fine, compared to most other folks'. "How goes it?"

"Hey Mike," Allie said with a smile of her own because Mike was one of those people that just inspired them. "I'm recovering from the weekend insanity and debating a move to a quiet cave somewhere. How about you?"

"Well, personally, I have no need to move to a cave." Because he was the kind of lucky bastard who usually seemed immune to island weird. It'd probably get him in a spectacular way eventually. "Really, things are just... normal. Work, stuff."

Mike patted the bar once he'd walked up to it. "Hey, looking good, Kitty." Compliments were great greetings, don't even try and claim otherwise. "No more stripper pole?"

This was what he'd been expecting, yet.

"Thank you," she smiled. She wasn't exactly hating compliments this week. "No more stripper pole. I guess it disappeared when the weirdness did."

"I can't say I'm too sad," Mike shrugged. "To be honest, I think I've had my share of working in strip clubs."

He laughed. Sorry, Derek. "Yeah, he wasn't half bad either, was he? I duno if I could've ever gotten entirely over being weirded out, though. Doesn't exactly fit in with my previous notions of him."

After getting Kitty's message, Clint high-tailed it over to Caritas in record time. "I'm here, I'm here, I'm not missing anything," he said.

Okay, yeah, she was trying not to laugh. "If I'd known that would get you to come that fast, I'd have been doing it for months."

She was mostly teasing.
