The Beach [Sunday afternoon into evening]

Anakin came to the school because he'd been called about a delivery to his office. It turned out to be crates full cinnamon buns, Wookiee cookies, and sausages.

So. Many. Sausages.

Anakin didn't remember ordering any of this stuff, and there was enough of it to feed dozens, so there was now an impromptu beach party going on, complete with cantina music, as Anakin cooked up all the food.

Watch out for the way the sun glared off of the water--it was a little lens-flarey.

Anakin nodded. "I didn't want it to go bad, and I think Rory would have a fit if I brought home this much food. We could only eat half of it."

"Might as well put it to good use," she said. "Even if everyone's probably not going to have to eat for days afterwards..."

Anakin's cheeks went hot. "I'm missing something, and I think I'm better not asking what it is."

"Yeah, don't ask. Just invent a new phrase," she told him.

"I will," Anakin promised. "How have you been the last week?" He grinned. "I kind of like this again."

"I've been okay. Busy. Mom and Dad got back from another trip with Allana so there's been a lot of catchup time," she said. "How about you?"

"I got to drive the bus back from the airport," Anakin said happily. "And then I'm going to send the students to various planets and try to make sure they didn't get eaten."

Anakin chuckled. "Think I should drop them on Endor or Coruscant first?"

"Coruscant. As long as you're not dropping them in the underlevels," Jaina said. "They might need preparation for Ewoks."

The droid-worshipping, human-eating teddy bears that they were.

"I'll check the list to make sure too many students aren't from places with only twelve people, then do it," Anakin agreed.

"If they're from somewhere with twelve people, Fandom was probably enough culture shock to get them started," she reasoned.
