Caritas, Friday, 6/26
Caritas had a rainbow theme today. Flags hung from the bar and walls, and Didi had decorated her top hat with a rainbow ribbon. She was in a resoundingly good mood as she polished the bar and watched for customers. She didn't care so much what marriage meant; it wasn't so long ago by her reckoning that it had been more about cementing family alliances than anything else. But love? Love was eternal, and love was worth celebrating.
A sign outside the bar read, Special: Free Rainbow Jello Shots. Didi was going to blame Tino for that one.
[OOC: Open bar, open post!]

This seemed like the opportune time to actually knock that jello shot back. So he did. And it was weird, but not unpleasant. And he laughed. "Okay, that... was definitely a new experience. Are these things popular these days?"
Sometimes, he wondered whether he should have tried to blend in a little more. At others, he didn't care.

She lowered her voice. "I like looking at them better than eating them, too."

Except all the aforementioned candy.
"Maybe I'll still prefer my liquor the old-fashioned way."

Because it hadn't made it over the ocean from Europe yet.

She passed his drink across the counter and added, "Where ishome for you, anyhow? Other than a place where people have good sense."
