Caritas- all day Sunday

After hanging out with dinosaurs for a week and having a lot of questions re: ethics, it was time to get back to normal. With a scavenger hunt. As you do.

People were to meet at Caritas in the morning, where they'd be given their teams and lists, and then hopefully they'd get around town without doing too much damage. Cross your fingers.

And Kitty or Tino or the flamingo would be at the bar pretty much the whole day in case of problems, and also in case of drinks. Though both Tino and the flamingo were steadfastly refusing to be involved in the scavenger hunt shenanigans, which marked the first time they'd ever agreed on anything.

Inigo had spent the last few days wandering around, getting his bearings. And, perhaps, wondering where the people were.

Was it possible that he'd found a barren island?

Imagine his surprise when he walked by the building this morning and saw people.

So, that would be a no on the barren, then.

On the plus side? This might be a bar.

With that in mind, he ran a hand through his hair, adjusted his sword, straightened his clothes, and entered the building with caution, but also a healthy dose of curiosity.

"Brandy, please, if you have it?" Wandering in the cold and sleeping under the stars had left him a bit...chilled.

He glanced around, unsure what to make of the decor. "If it's not too much trouble, would you please tell me where I am?"

He hadn't been able to figure it out so far.

There was a list of teams posted:

Frank & Isabela
Maria & April
Eggsy & Blue
Gwen & Mara
Tali & Ada

And everyone was able to take a list of items and look it over to see what they were getting through the day.

"You've got your teams, you've got your lists," Kitty said. "Your goal is to go through town and collect as many of these items as you can. The first team here by sundown with the most items wins a $100 gift card. And the race starts now!"

"What the hell is that coffee?" she asked, frowning at the list.

Isabela peered dubiously at the list. "I thought we'd be looking for treasure."

Just consider it practice for all those future fetch quests and the times when the only loot was a pair of torn trousers and an odd sock, Isabela.

Ada did a fist-pump of victory. She and Tali were already teammates for the Terrible Trio, so they were already pretty good at working together.

And hopefully, Tali knew what some of these were. "What the heck is a 'Ben Special?'"

"It's huge, I'll tell you that," Tali said, poking at her omni-tool as she tried to download a copy of the island map onto it. "And it doesn't come in a dextro version. Something about not a wide enough market to justify the expense. Keelah, there's a lot of food on this list, but how are we going to get a squirrel to give us a note?"

April was totally ready to win. You could tell from the fact that everything she was wearing was made for working out. And she had put her hair up. Shit was real.

Maria showed up and carried her bag into the back room of Caritas feeling cheerful since she and April had a lot of things in their bags.
