The Park, Friday Afternoon/Evening
Tamsin had spent most of the past couple of days drinking and yelling at random Americans in the street.
She wasn't surprised by this recent bout of stupidity, but sometimes you had to vent.
... And apparently the island agreed, because she walked into the park that afternoon to find that, improbably, the sun was shining, warm and good and beautiful, down on the park. There was no rhyme or reason for it; everywhere else was cold as hell. But it was nice here.
And there was a large quantity of booze sitting under a tree.
She snagged a bottle, took a swig, turned towards the mainland, and yelled, at the top of her voice...
"SCREW YOU GUYS!"
[[ screw you guys party. open! ]]

Arrive/Mingle
Re: Arrive/Mingle
Sparkle could get behind that. Plus there was alcohol. And this beat what he'd been going to do tonight, which mostly involved hunting down rich white communities in Baltimore that still had their Trump signs out and causing at least minor quantities of property damage. Or, at least, it was less likely to get him in trouble, even if it was significantly less cathartic.

"You might - or might not - wish to stay away from the ones with the red marks on the butcher paper," he added congenially. "Meat has been regrettably easy to find this week."

"Fucking hell," he said, blinking in surprise at the change of temperature and the sight of booze. "This isn't half bad, now is it?"
Of course, he was going to grab a bottle for himself and plop himself down under a tree to start drinking. "Here's to America and her inferiority complex: Brexit was getting all the attention, so she decided to up the ante."
Re: Arrive/Mingle
She sank down next to him by the tree. "Ugh."

She did find the result of the election quite horrible, but she didn't expect much from the world generally.
She blinked at the Mayor however. And decided she would make a better president, which sadly wasn't saying much.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
"Go drink," she said.

He was tired and fully intended to get second-hand drunk. Very second-hand drunk.

That was his contribution. He immediately opened a bottle, too.

So, there were a pile of assorted moddable sandwiches and a number of pizzas, plus a ton of finger food (most of it was all gourmet, but he knew his audience).
And there were also a number of things he'd be eating himself but not putting out for the general public, if those who knew about him wanted to join him in eating meat-of-idiot-supporters.
