Caritas- Grand Reopening Party- Friday

Okay, technically Caritas hadn't been closed (shark-induced renovations were expensive and she'd needed the revenue), but it had been a construction-laden mess for weeks, and Kitty had worked super hard on getting it back up to snuff. The floors were new, the bar and tables and booths were new and updated, there'd been repainting and a roof replacement and Kitty wouldn't be able to watch HGTV for a while but it was done.

So tonight there was a party, with posters having been posted around the island. The zombies were onstage playing- and with a table of merch off to the side- Tino was behind the bar while Kitty would either be there or mingling, and they were fully open for business.

"Plus the bonus of being completely crass," Steve said a little judgmentally.

"So, I shouldn't show you the proper way to do them?" Tony asked, picking a bit of whipped cream off the side of his hand. They were a mess to transport sometimes.

"I'm going to regret saying yes, aren't I?" Steve said with a small smirk.

"Steven. I'm preparing you for going out to the bar without my guidance."

Where people might hit on him with shots.

"And asking for blow jobs," Steve said skeptically. "That seems like a reach." He gestured at the glasses. "Go ahead, though. Impress me."

Tony cleared his throat. "It tends to be an ice breaker?"

Or a super overt declaration that they really wanted to go home with you.

Either way, he wiggled his fingers to draw attention to the fact that he was putting his hands behind his back and taking the shot without them. Did you see why it was called a blowjob now, Steve?"

Steve looked about ready to swallow his tongue. "Jeez."

Tony laughed, shot glass still in his mouth for a moment before he let it drop into his hand. "I haven't done one of these in years."

"I'm sure I didn't really need to know that," Steve said, blushing to the roots of his hair. He swallowed hard (heh) and nudged his glass closer, then sighed heavily. "Regretting asking this already, but is there a trick to this?"

Tony was going to assume it was the warmth of the alcohol in his stomach there. Yep, that's where he was going.

"Confidence," he said, placing a hand on the small of Steve's back. Because that helped. "It's a sticky mess even when you do it right."

Yep, he was aware of how that sounded. And not drawing attention to it.

"Hate you so much right now," Steve muttered, attempting the shot and, yes, making a sticky mess of himself.

Okay, that made him laugh again. "Do you want a napkin?"

"Yes, please," Steve said, trying to get whipped cream off of his nose.

Tony offered it over to him, trying very hard not to laugh at him. "You should have seen my first one. I dropped it and got splattered."

In no way was this conversation okay in a public location.

Steve snorted because he could sometimes be twelve too. "With Rhodey?"

"Oh no, Rhodey wouldn't have let me into a bar," Tony replied. "I wasn't exactly of age."

Shocking, right?

"That's adorable," Steve said. "So where was your first blow job?"

This was a normal conversation that normal people had.

"A gentleman doesn't kiss and tell, Steve," Tony replied, voice going low and teasing as he batted his eyes. Because he had to.

Steve tossed another chip at him, blushing hard. "Not what I meant, Stark."

"Some shitty bar near the campus," he said, taking pity on him. "This group of girls bought it for me."

Of course they did.

"Apparently I looked like I needed one."

"How can you look like you need one?"

Tony opened his mouth to respond to that before the conclusion that this was a poor choice hit. Yep. Bad idea all around.

"They were teasing me," he said finally.

Cue Righteously Indignant Steve. "That wasn't nice of them."

He'd kick their asses right now for you, Tony. Because that would be very helpful.

"It wasn't bad," Tony replied with a little smile, focusing on wiping a little splatter of whipped cream off Steve's shirt. "I didn't have the reputation back then. I was just that weird rich kid. I bet you one of them got a good story out of it about giving Tony Stark his first blowjob."

Steve made a face. "That's not right."
