Of course the Carnival offers plenty of food too, and there are rides and games for everyone to enjoy.

"No, I think the crocogator has more teeth," Cade declared.

"Well, I guess that is the important part," Sparkle laughed. "What do you need with that many teeth, anyway?"

"More teeth are always better," Cade said. "It's a rule or something."

"I think that rule mostly depends on where the teeth are pointed," Sparkle decided. "I'm a big fan of teeth on anything that isn't trying to use them on, like, me, for example."

He had his priorities. Not getting eaten was super high on that list.

"We'll train it to only want to eat Atton," Cade said, nodding wisely.

"That might be the easy part," Sparkle laughed, shaking his head in amusement. "Who's gonna teach Atton not to kill the crocogator?"

"You kidding?" Sparkle was laughing, too, shaking his head. "Man, I can't even bring home a cat. But I guess if the croc is staying with you..."

"I guess I could keep it in the upstairs apartment at the clothing shop, instead..."

"Might be a little big for the bathtub, though. Maybe I should build a pool on the roof, instead."

So that he could have a crocogator come crashing inside along with the sharks next time the weather got weird!

"That might be better," Cade agreed. "We can pick up an inflatable one on the way back from the zoo."

This was a terrible, terrible idea.

"I mean, it's probably just a matter of a rolled-up newspaper and maybe some treats for positive reinforcement," Sparkle mused.

"Well, then I'll leave the duck-catching to you," Sparkle said, grinning. "You have experience already, after all."

"I can always use an extra pair of hands for the duck-catching," Cade said.

"I mean, I have never caught a duck in my life," Sparkle pointed out. "I'd probably hurt it."

The duck that they were going to just feed to a large reptile anyway, yes.

"We could just, like, put the crocogator in the pond," Sparkle mused.
