Well, Steve and Tony were apparently hosting a cookout tonight! They had far too many kinds of soda and a keg if you asked nicely and didn't tell Steve and far too many kinds of chips...

And hot dogs, because you couldn't kill people if you accidentally undercooked a hot dog. Hopefully their friends were better at the culinary arts because they were reallllly not.

The music was loud and from the 70s and 80s (at Tony's insistence) and the grill was probably four times as complicated as it needed to be! Come party like it's 1980 something! Or 1930 something!

This was on Hannibal's calendar, too, along with a note to bring some food.

So he'd brought a bunch of crepes with nutella and banana in them. Hopefully that would work? His cuisine was still a work in progress.

The modern music wasn't really to his taste, but he recognized most of it anyway.

Peter's "phone" told him he should be here, and even had directions! That thing was magical.

So he came over and looked around, bewildered. He still hadn't found anyone who spoke Greek, so he had no idea what he was doing.

Kitty was an adult this week, and she also knew this was hilarious. She was here with a salad because she at least wanted to give the option for something healthy, and also she was going to keep her phone out with the camera up the entire time.

And trying to figure out where the alcohol was. It was a high school party, it had to be somewhere.

Rosa Diaz had a ton of beer in her fridge. Like, a toooooon. It was honestly mostly beer in there, which said a lot about a woman who lived across the street from a bar, really.

And for Emily Goldfinch, it meant that she had an easy ticket to be the coolest kid at this party going on tonight. "Ladies and gents," she announced as she burst through the door that she had to nudge open with her foot because she held a six-pack of bottles in each hand, while the backpack slung over one shoulder clattered with more, "the cavalry has arrived!"

Just when she thought it couldn't get worse than having to teach a class, these Squirrel Directions lead her to this. A party. A social gathering where she was expected to stand around and be awkward and try to think of things to say to people she didn't even know.

But she figured it was marginally better than being harassed by squirrels all evening when all she wanted to do was curl up with a book on popular mechanics.

So she was there, and she was looking incredibly uncomfortable about it, searching around the room for anything that could be an excuse to bail or maybe slip off somewhere else that was still technically there at the party but at the same time....not.

Okay, his phone said this was a party thrown by Tony Stark? Miguel had no shocking clue what was going on, or who the guy really was - maybe a third-generation he hadn't heard of or something? - he was definitely not going to miss it.

Seivarden had found an invitation in her communication device, and why miss a party? She had expected it to be strange and exotic, but to her surprise it seemed like any party with unsupervised teenagers, with the exception that she was the only Radchaai. Was there no one else here?

Anyway, the pink and purple glitter in her hair was perfect for a party, wasn't it?

Parties were... supposed to be fun, right? And Liam was apparently supposed to be trying to have fun. So here he was.

He had brought yet another bag of potato chips, because cooking was... not a skill he had inherited. Or had time to learn just yet.

Sooooooo apparently parties were a thing he got invited to around here, which was a new one for Caleb, who had never been to a party in his life. He was here in his robes, of course, though his newly dyed hair (pink braid, and a blue stripe in the rest of it) was maybe a little more ostentatious than he was used to.

He hadn't brought... anything. He had no idea how these things were supposed to work, so he was content to just stand off to the side, feeling out of place and people-watching.

Look, at least their phones were getting to the party, right?

In the meantime, she was looking super-uncomfortable, possibly armed, and like she was going to leave at any second.

Tony and Steve had invited Hardison personally, and he wasn't about to let some jackass bully stop him from going. So as soon as he could reasonably show up, he was there, battered and bruised and blackened eye, his glasses precariously held together with tape.

Tony was manning the grill! Which mostly amounted to poking at the hotdogs in the hopes thar he looked like he knew what he was doing.
