Caritas- Tuesday
This whole pregnancy thing hadn't been so bad so far. Sometimes annoying, but nothing Kitty couldn't deal with. And then it decided to be stupidly hot, right around the time everything started swelling up, and she was just pretty miserable.
So the bar was an icebox today. The zombies were selling sweatshirts at the merch table if you wanted one. And Kitty was sitting in a chair behind the bar and she wasn't moving and she'd take your order and talk to you but Tino was making all your drinks tonight or he was fired.
Happy Tuesday!

"So, I've tried whiskey and tequila, what should I try next?"

"Have you tried vodka?" Okay, she didn't have to think too hard.

She'd drink anything, including umbrella cocktails.

... He was still wearing the knee-high leather boots, though, because some things just couldn't be messed with.
"I think I liked the island better in the winter," he informed Kitty as he kind of oozed onto a barstool. "Props on the air conditioning, though. I might stay here longer than usual tonight."

"Tino, make the man his drink."

"Good man, Tino," Kanan called, too. Because anyone making him a drink right now was basically the best. "I almost decided to stick around Luke's on Sunday, just to occasionally step into the freezer," he added, looking back to Kitty. "Who the hell ever authorized weather like this needs a good smack to the side of the head."
Stupid non-weather-controlled worlds. Stupid heat.

She was being slightly dramatic today.

It was so weird wearing something with buttons on it right now.
So weird.

And then over to Kitty, very pointedly ignoring anyone else who may be in the bar...for now.
"So," she said, leaning on the counter, "who's taking bets on how many dingbats blow something off tomorrow?"
It was honestly her favorite Fourth of July tradition.

Tino was frowning.

She darted her eyes toward Tino.
"Baker's dozen."

Either way, here he was.
"Wow, it's like... actually decent in here." A beat. "Temperature wise, I mean." Because he didn't want to accidentally insult Kitty's place of work, oh my god.

Sorry, anyone who didn't actually want it any colder! Because the temperature was going to drop another few degrees.
"I miss winter," Bobby complained, flopping in to a seat.
