Parents' Weekend Brunch, Sunday
The weather was still holding out for the weekend, decently warm with a few clouds here and there in the sky, and the weekend itself was coming to a close. Your illustrious Student Council had gone through the paces of organizing a brunch so that Fandomites could have one more day of school-provided quality time with their visitors, and so three were tables out with all manner of food provided, for folks of all dietary needs.
Don't worry, students. Things that weren't necessarily safe for human consumption had been clearly marked as such.

Mingle!
Re: Mingle!
Re: Mingle!
Tseng had known. There was a lot to work through with just that knowledge alone.
That said, he was coming here with his dog anyway. It wasn't like he could avoid the Turks forever, and if Tseng managed to find him at all, he preferred it be with other people around.
Re: Mingle!
Tseng hadn't wandered into the brunch yet, no. He was standing on the outskirts, sticking, somehow, to shadows even though the sun was shining up above. It was a talent he had. Staying just out of sight.
Clandestine dark suits. It was a Turk thing.
"You're looking well."
Re: Mingle!
Zack didn't so much as turn around to face the man. There was something wary, almost icy in his voice as he held out his hand, calling Girl back to his side.
"Guess I must be."
They both knew damn well what the alternative very nearly was.

Which right now meant that he was showing up to this event, watching all the people here.
Re: Mingle!
Spoiler alert: It probably wasn't.
Re: Mingle!
Kaidan! Incoming Girl!
With, of course, a Zack trailing along behind, smiling crookedly.
"Hey! Sorry, she's off-duty today, which means she needs to visit all her friends."
Re: Mingle!
"Hey, Zack," he smiled, after giving appropriate attention to the doggo, "This is Jack, crew of the Normandy and basically my bitchy baby sister. Watch out, she bites."
Look, he felt it was only fair to warn people.

... Anyway, there were three of them, sitting at a table and chatting among themselves.
Atton got grumpier, Mical got more cheerful, Visas stayed Visas.
Re: Mingle!
He nodded politely to Mical and Visas. Not knowing Visas name, he didn't want to exclude her by greeting Mical with his.

Food & Drink!
Just to cover their bases.
Still, if it could be even loosely interpreted as a lunch food, it was there, and so anybody who showed up to eat today would have plenty to choose from!
Re: Food & Drink!
Naturally, Ariel had to try one of everything that was deemed safe for human consumption. And some things that weren't, but were apparently okay for half-Jaridians.
So yeah, don't mind the kid with a literal mountain of food, bookended by a bemused-looking Lili and Liam, both of whom had far more reasonable plates on the go.
Re: Food & Drink!
They walked over. Jack a couple steps behind Kaidan and off to his right. "Hey, Liam. How's your weekend been?" Thumbed toward Jack, "Wound up with a surprise visitor. This is Jack, crew of the Normandy and basically my enfant terrible sister."
Re: Food & Drink!
"You're not the only one who got a surprise visitor," Liam said with a shake of his head. "Verity's siblings and cousin showed up on her doorstep yesterday. On the other hand, I was expecting these two. This," he gestured at Lili, "is Lili, probably the closest thing I've got to a sister, and her daughter, Ariel."

Tables!
Re: Tables!
Of course, he probably wouldn't be there long, anyway, since sitting alone at a table while other people ate with their families was probably going to do a quick job of kind of bumming him out a little. Something he didn't even think about until it was pretty much too late.
Re: Tables!
Hey, Prompto! Guess who had a happy dog trotting over to solicit affection. Go on, guess.
Did you guess yourself? Because Zack wasn't going to let a friend of his sit alone at a table for long if he could help it, and he most certainly could.
