Parents' Weekend Brunch, Sunday

The weather was still holding out for the weekend, decently warm with a few clouds here and there in the sky, and the weekend itself was coming to a close. Your illustrious Student Council had gone through the paces of organizing a brunch so that Fandomites could have one more day of school-provided quality time with their visitors, and so three were tables out with all manner of food provided, for folks of all dietary needs.

Don't worry, students. Things that weren't necessarily safe for human consumption had been clearly marked as such.

Bunsen stopped by the brunch hoping to see Vette, as per Hannibal's recommendation, or maybe another likely victim candidate for a extremely prestigious lab assistant gig at Carnegie Mellonhead.

Which was a super legit university. Really.

"Quite all right, quite all right," Bunsen said, turning to get a good look at this new student. "I say, you aren't Vette, but do you happen to know her? I'm looking for a lab assistant for next year."

"I would be happy to take your application!" Bunsen said. "Are you interested in science?"

He mimed an explosion. "Meeeeeeep!"
