Caritas, Sunday
Would a kid man a bar with no age limit? ... Well, this one certainly would.
Of course, anyone entering Caritas today would find Jaq enthousiastically mixing up differently-colored juices and lemonades, rather than alcohol. And he had a big grin on his face for most of it, too.
Otherwise, though, same old same old at Caritas on Sunday night.
[[ open, but slow, so when in doubt mod your own service! ]]

Jaq fumbled with it until he realized where it came from, taking the little device from pants. He pressed the big green button and frowned.

Please don't let it be AU kids, that'd just be weird these days.

Which meant she was peering into this place, looking through the door uncertainly before noticing the little boy at the bar. Human, always humans, here. Maybe she was on an Empire world. That would explain... a little bit, anyway.
Not nearly enough.
With wide eyes, she was peering up just over the edge of the bar, watching the boy mixing up juice. It looked really good.

And then, a little shyly, she looked back up at him, resigned to being discovered, and waved a little hello.

"Hello," she offered. Her basic extended that far, at least. She made a face as she puzzled out the rest of what the boy said, and then reached a hand up to touch her hat in question. This?

And of course Jaq would be at the bar, smiling and having a great time.
Because Len wants to kill me.Kaidan took a seat and watched Hernando carefully when he promptly clambered up onto his own seat.
The thumb drive was fished out and slid across the bar toward Jaq. "Pictures from yesterday, in case you wanted them."

He picked up the thumb drive. He squinted at it. "... Not sure what this does, though."

His eyes went big and round when he saw Jaq on the other side of the bar mixing drinks. He beamed at him and chirped, "Hi Jaq!"
Jaq got to do things like the adults did! That was so cool!

Just juice, right? None of the icky stuff adults put in their juice to ruin it?

Sorry, Hernando, you were getting a bottle shoved under your nose.

Thankfully for today Kaidan had remembered that he had hair ties in his pockets so there wasn't an amount of hair in that bottle due to the nod.
"Grape juice! Yes, please," he said

It was Caritas. Literally nothing could hurt him here, except perhaps an overindulgence in sugary drinks.

"Do not go outside," he instructed, "Ok?"

A little reluctantly because he felt truly he should not need to say this, Kaidan, Hernando voiced, "Okay."
