The Streets of Town, Friday
Kanan had a lightsaber in one hand and a blaster in the other.
Kanan could be back in the Ghost, enjoying a shielded ship with power and heating and hot caf. But no, he was out here, wearing the heaviest coat he had and a smile on his face as he carved through snowmen, using this as his training exercise for the day.
They were attacking the island, he felt very few compunctions about cutting them down with superheated plasma in the name of training, no. A slash of his lightsaber here, a few headshots from his blaster as another contingent of snowmen rounded the corner... reducing these things to slush was actually somewhat cathartic. So, no, Kanan wasn't in the warehouse today. But that didn't mean he wasn't getting his lightsaber work in. Not at all.
And today he'd even left the dog on the ship. Sorry, buddy.

Hey, Kanan had said she could call him anytime. It just meant that she was going to be treated to the beautiful sound of lightsaber 'vwoom vwoomp's and blaster 'pew pew pew's as Kanan answered.
"Hey, Rey!"
At least his phone still had a charge? Probably not for long. But it did!

Namely that if a biotic hit a snowman with Cryo, it would freeze to a solid state. When then hit with an inferno round from an assault rifle, it would go from ice to vapor almost instantly.
When he heard the rather distinct sound of a lightsaber, he headed in that direction. Odds were good it was going to be someone he knew.
He grinned a little when he saw Kanan and called, "Having fun?"
He was. Not as much fun as he'd be having later, when the hockey stick and skates came out, but it'd do for now.

"Always," Kanan called back, firing a volley of blaster bolts at an incoming squad of snowmen that burned clear through three that happened to have the misfortune of almost all standing in a line for his convenience. "This is way better than the poodoo that happened last year."
He was enjoying it, so sue him.

Inferno rounds were fun, ok.

Kanan's boss, on the other hand. . . .
Eliot was perfectly familiar with hiking through and fighting in heavy snow drifts. He had the gear to keep warm and dry despite the freezing temperatures, and a carbon steel walking stick with an ice pick built in to keep himself stable while hiking. And smash snow monster heads.
"You know," he said, when he spotted Kanan. "I think that laser sword might be overkill."
no subject
"Sure," Kanan replied, "but it's effective overkill. They come back if you don't melt them."
He turned a grin Eliot's way.
"The laser sword is rarely not overkill, you know."
Not much stood a chance against a plasma blade.
no subject
He'd been around the block enough times to figure that melting them might just make them take a little longer to come back.

And now Sabine was making her way through town to see what else she could take care of, and she'd missed doing stuff like this. She didn't do it for fun or anything, but it felt good to be good at it.
"This looks much easier without a dog," she noted.

"That's... useful."
She walked around the corner, having followed the sounds of what she assumed to be shots.
That gun wasn't bad, she had to admit. Or the sword. At least against snow men.
no subject
Kanan was. Kanan was enjoying it very much.
no subject
She aimed and shot an approaching snowman through the head.

It wasn't pretty, because she'd only had since yesterday to cobble it together, and it only managed two second bursts of fire at a time, but hey. A well placed shockwave knocked away the half melted snow monsters before they could close in on her too far.
"Gotta say this feels wrong on a few levels, but here we are."
no subject
"They are attacking us, after all."

A snowman got too close. Inferno round to the face.

Blue light crackled around a nearby snow monster that found itself hurtling through the air toward her . . . and neatly into the path of her flamethrower.
"You look like you're having way too much fun here, Kaidan. Is that possible?"

Despite the snow, Lana was a bit cheerful today. Getting out her aggression on the snowmen was a wonderful thing, and nobody was telling her not to, either - not even the Jedi!

... Caleb had been mostly trained for war, not peace. Moments like this, it tended to show.
"Hello again," he called, giving her a little nod, since his hands were sort of full. "Enjoying yourself, are you?"
no subject
Two snowmen came around the corner, and she blasted one with lightning, causing it to shudder and then break apart.
