Caritas- Tuesday
Kitty typically had bad luck with this sort of thing. There's been the time she'd been in the flooded store with a shark, and then there's been the sharkicane-related savage to Caritas that had ended in a renovation and a lot of lies to the insurance company. (You explain the shark.) So shes exkected the worst here yesterday until she found that at least the inside of the bar was totally dry.
As for getting in without letting water in... In case anyone still made it out here, there was a sign on the door.
KNOCK AND I'LL PHASE YOU IN!
ALSO THERE'S A LADDER AROUND BACK INTO THE BATHROOMS IF YOU WANT ADVENTURE
She hadn't let Tino in. She'd seen him on a flamingo floatie in swim trunks waited until he went away.

Someone needed his Tuesday night bar fix. Someone was also developing a serious case of cabin fever after one full day of everything he generally passed the time with being submerged. And so: Ladder. Bathrooms. Bar.

It should be noted that he'd absolutely let a little water ruin his plans for class yesterday, but there wasn't much to be done about that. Maybe program the Danger Shop last-minute?
Eh, he'd keep that in mind for the next time. Two weeks in, he was already pretty sure there would be a next time.
"Besides, I've done weirder."

Because of course there had been a bounty.

Look. She was bored, it was something to do, and she knew she could pull it off, though she may not have realized she hadn't considered the reverse until she'd already landed.
Oh, well. Either way, she was down for an adventure that didn't involve feeling maybe a little weird about being phased in by her friend, so she went in through the bathrooms.
"Why?" she asked, once she got settled in her usual spot with every intention of staying for a while considering the effort it took to get there.
It was a loaded why, really, encompassing so...so much.

Yes, she had honestly considered this.
No, she wasn't convinced it wasn't the solution.
Yes, she'd been here way too long.
Help.

For like, a while.
"I mean, I could just walk down there and check if there is a plug."

"Get my beer," she said, because priorities, "and then go check. I'll stay here," obviously, "and make sure Kanan doesn't steal all the juice."
Because he totally would do that.
Either way, this was a very important mystery that needed to be solved as soon as possible.

As soon as he took a moment to frown at the sign and wonder if that first part meant what he thought the first part meant and that if the first part meant what he thought it meant, then he didn't want anything to do with that. He'd take the adventure, finding a good spot to tether up his kayak, hitch himself up on that ladder, and decend into this supposed adventure.
Bit weird, entering a place through the washroom, but at least this way, he could get a good scope about it before even entering the bar. You could tell a lot about an establishment based on its washrooms, after all.
He headed to the bar, noting that the crowd seemed about just what you'd expect from a small town bar on a Tuesday night, maybe a little on the lighter side, and got down to the important business when he spotted the bartender, turned sharply that way before heading over, and standing there with his thumbs in his beltloops.
"Do you carry any Puppers?"

There was a...noteable pause, a bit more of a murmur coming up.
"S'got a picture of a cute dog on the label."
Which was, really, the important part.

And then she turned and walked through the back of the bar to take a shortcut into the storage room.
She'd lost the filter for that stuff here.

And so Wayne grunted and turned to look away a little too late, sulking about it, too, because he felt it was really just sort of impolite, to just go phasing through walls without even warning a person first. You should really warn a person first if you were going to go phase through walls like that, it was just good manners...
At least it gave him a chance to check out the bar a little while he waited, and at least it sounded like there would be Puppers here, so that was a good thing. And looking around the bar was fine, too, until he got to the stage.
And then Wayne was just going to take a few moment and admire the craftmanship of the bar itself. It was a nice looking bar, had a good grain on it. Fine bar, this bar. Can confirm.

"Turns out we do have a few," she said.

And it would be nice, knowing that, despite everything around here, he could depend on coming in and getting a fucking Puppers.
"Don't suppose," he ventured, since today was shaping up pretty positively and he might as well try to ride the trend, "you've also got some Gus'n'Bru whiskey, too, do you? Also with cute dogs on the label."
no subject
Because she'd just phase again.
