Kanan's warehouse- all day Thursday- NFB
Kitty was tired of this. She was tired of sneaking around, she was tired of having to smile all the time, she wanted everyone back to normal, and it was starting to make her twitchy. Which was still better than the rage monster she'd been on Monday before things got started, really, but it still wasn't ideal.
So there was a lot of pacing among the plastic playground equipment today. Hopefully there'd be more people, and hopefully the word had gotten out by now, and hopefully someone had some kind of plan.
[Second verse, same as the first! If you're on team Bad Toy feel free to mod an invite. If you're Team Toymaker, you can be outside but you have to stay outside.]

"I have a plan," he announced, as soon as he was certain the door of the warehouse had shut firmly behind him.

Why no one had tried this earlier in the summer, the first time the island had jumped somewhere actively terrible, was a question best not asked at this point in time.

She really hoped the plan involved smashing things. She wasn't sure how much smashing her currently plush body was capable of, but she was willing to try.

The rainbow was the important part.
Anyway, keeping an eye on Stance and a lookout at the door kept Kanan from attempting to chisel off one of his own feet just so that he could move his legs independently of one another again.

... Let's be real, Stance practically owned the place already.
"He hasn't turned me in yet, anyway."

Stance didn't seem to mind terribly much, wagging his tail and giving a happy doggy bark.

oh-so-handwavilychecked in with Amaya last night, she was starting to have a much better idea of what exactly was going on around here this week. Good thing, too, because not only was she itching to do something to help, but she knew she couldn't act happy and cheerful when she wasn't even if her life depended on it.Which it actually did. So...
There she was, peeking her head into the warehouse before slipping in, hopefully relatively unnoticed.
"Rosa sent me," she offered, since Rosa had suggested she mention that, too, as Amaya'd only come around since yesterday. "What can I do to help?"

"So far we've been trying to find out who's woken up and are trying to come up with a plan," Kitty told her. "Occasionally we swing out our anxiety."
That was just her.

"Planning and figuring out, I think I can do," she noted with a nod. "Especially if we're doing it while we're in here, because, I'll be honest, I don't think I can do very well with all that out there."

Praise Bast she could still do that. Poor Mae.
She came into the warehouse and swatted the door closed with her paw. "Uuuuuugh."

What? Kids liked active, bouncy toys, right? This was totally how she had played with her stuffed dolls when she was little.
And when her circuit eventually led her to the warehouse, she ran past, spent a little while bouncing around the block to make sure no one was looking, and ducked inside.
Then promptly threw herself to the floor, flailing all her limbs in a classic toddler tantrum, because holy crap she was so tired of all this shit. The only noise she made was squeaking. She went still, flopping onto her back, and closed her eyes, unable to even groan in frustration at her sad, fluffy little existence.
Sorry for the emo, team Bad Toy. Mae was having a very bad week.

She was just going to lie here until someone gave her something to break, please.
