That warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey had maybe sort of figured it out.

Last week had been has been helpful in getting in the right mindset to do maybe everything, and she was feeling more hopeful about her place in all of this than she had in a while. So she'd sat down on the floor to meditate before Anakin got here, trying to get back to that a little

It was easier without the woodchucks at the other end of the warehouse. Meditation usually involved less frowning, usually.

Yasha hadn't meant to come in here, for the record. She'd just gone out for a walk on her break, having a limited tolerance for being in small enclosed spaces, and been so caught up in reading one of the books she'd found lying around the flower shop (yes, reading while she walked) that she wound up in the warehouse district and found herself in front of this particular one.

So, out of curiosity, she knocked on the door.

It'd been a while since Rey had heard that. "Come in," she called, standing.

Don't mind the sound of a crate being chucked.

That was a totally normal sound, though.

Yasha closed the book and tucked it away in one of the pockets on her cloak before opening the door and stepping inside.

"Hello?" she said, uncertainly. "I didn't mean to -- I mean, I ended up here by accident, and I just thought -- I --"

She faltered and just waved one hand vaguely.

"Hello."

"Hi," Rey greeted her. "You're fine. Not interrupting anything."

The woodchucks did that.

"Sorry," Yasha mumbled. "What were you doing?"

Also, why were there woodchucks?

[thatwaslucky]

"Meditating," Rey explained. "It uh, wasn't going well."

That was you she was glaring at, woodchucks.

Yasha was eyeing the woodchucks now too, yeah.

"They're not supposed to be helping, are they? Because it doesn't look like they are."

[thatwaslucky]

"No. They're woodchucks. They chuck wood," Rey sighed. "I can't explain them."

[notarockharpist]

"That was the crashing sound?"

She glanced over toward the woodchucks again, frowning slightly this time.

"Should I kill them?"

Yasha, no.

[thatwaslucky]

"No!" Rey said immediately. "They're harmless. Just annoying. Not a killable offense."

[notarockharpist]

"If you're sure." Luckily, Yasha didn't seem like she'd been really into the idea yet, because she eased up pretty much immediately. "I'm not sure they would be very good to eat anyway."

Was ... was one of them flipping her off over there?

"Probably not," Rey said slowly. "They actually add character here."

They did not.

"Were you reading on the way here?"

[notarockharpist]

Sorry, Rey. This was someone whose favorite food was rat.

"Yes?" Yasha looked a little bit sheepish about that. "I can't really help it, when this place has been just giving me things to read all week."

Anakin had super not spaced on this, rly, shut up stopped for a coffee before coming in and was running slightly behind.

He paused in the doorway to see what Rey was up today.

Rey looked nice and calm where she was sitting.

Until ahe heard something get thrown. That's when all the frowns started.

Damn woodchucks. Quit chuckin' that wood!

"Woodchucks?" Anakin guessed, frowning hard.

[thatwaslucky]

"Yes," she sighed, opening one eye. "They're terrible for meditation."

[sith_happened]

"Even more so than the porgs," Anakin agreed, "and one of those decided to perch on my head during my last try of beach meditating."

[thatwaslucky]

"I can see that," Rey smiled. "They sort of try to do yoga with us sometimes, I think."

[sith_happened]

"Is that what they were doing?" Anakin asked, laughing. "I thought they were just falling over."

They were probably just falling over.

[thatwaslucky]

"They could have been doing both. They're not exactly great at downward dog," Rey smiled.

[sith_happened]

"Because they don't have hands?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

"Or waists. They just sort of... flop."

It was so cute, though.

Anakin's lips quirked up because, yeah, they were hilarious.

"Maybe yoga is not their sport."

"Absolutely not," Rey agreed. "How are you?"
