Outside MCA- Thursday afternoon

Rey understood the concept of a kiddie pool, but she didn't know why she found one in her apartment.

Then there was the slow, very careful process of dragging it out through the hall and trying so hard not to spill anything on the way. She mostly managed! But really, what was she going do with it in her place? It wasn't even like she could empty it in there.

So, uh, there was going to be a kiddie pool outside the apartments, because she had no way of knowing that everyone got one.

"So you've got one of those too, huh?" For a minute there he thought it was just something his apartment did. He would not have been surprised if Danny gave him the weird apartment in the building.

"It's something that appears to be happening today," she said with a nod. "At least now it's outside."

"I'm impressed you managed to get yours out here." Even if Silver had both legs he didn't think he could manage it. Namely because he would have gotten bored with the process and probably leave it out in the hallway after a few minutes.

"It took... a while," she admitted. "And I should probably clean the hall."

"A little water never hurt anybody," he said with a wave of his hand. "I'm John, by the way. Do you live in this building too?"

"Rey," she said. "I'm in #1."

Better than having to levitate this thing downstairs!

"Ah, we're neighbors then," he said. "I'm in #2."

So get used to that "step, thump, step thump" noise that was him walking around.

"Good to meet you," she said with a smile. "I haven't actually seen much of the neighbors around the building somehow."

"I just moved in this week," he said. "I'll try not to make too much trouble for you, I promise."

"I don't know how you could be trouble," Rey assured him. "Even if you were, it's easy enough for me to just move in my apartment."

Because it was giant, and empty.

"As long as you don't go to the landlord," he joked. "He's already threatened to arrest me."

Rey frowned. "What for?"

Though Danny did seem to be known to do that.

"For my previous profession before I was a bartender," he replied. "Apparently he doesn't take kindly to piracy."

"Hello, Silver!" Jaskier was just going to live in this pool until some kind soul explained central air and how to make it work.

Silver did not know why he wasn't surprised by the sight of Jaskier in the tiny pool. He would later examine this and be horrified by the fact he was getting used to this place.

"Hello, Jaskier," he said, unable to keep from smiling. "You look like you're enjoying yourself."

"It's certainly better than the heat." Which could piss right off.

"It is rather oppressive, isn't it?" And still he would not get rid of his layers. "I'll never get used to it."

Believe it or not the weather was actually even more humid in Nassau. But only just barely.

"I feel like we're on a bog. Near a volcano." AND HE HATED IT.

"Has anyone ever told you that you're a little dramatic?" he teased.

"You know, it's never come up."

"I'll bet," he said. "At least it seems like you're making the best of this whole thing. I just totally ignored the pool that's in my apartment."

And why sit in stagnate water when the miracles of modern plumbing were in his bathroom!

Cold baths? No thank you.

"The only thing that might make this better, is alcohol." Oh god, they needed to learn about Margaritas.

"Is there anything that isn't better with alcohol?" he asked.

"...sword fights?" He assumed.

"You haven't been in the right kind of sword fights." There was a perfect level of alcohol that actually made you better with a sword!

No innuendo intended.

"Do you find yourself in many sword fights?"
