"Where are all the glasses?"

Upon realizing that it seemed that all the glassware seemed to be entirely MIA at the bar that evening, Summer's accusing eyes went almost immediately to Tino, who shrugged and insisted that he had nothing to do with it! They were all there yesterday! He should know, because he was stacking them all!

Summer narrowed her eyes at him a little after that, now wondering if the glassware had decided to take a hike out of pure self-preservation until Tino managed to get whatever stacking urges he was having lately out of his system.

"You just better hope it's all back by tomorrow," she said. "I am not taking the fall for this."

And at least they had plenty of red solo cups!

"Have you run into any confused newcomers yet?" Seivarden asked, a jello shot in her hand.

Lucifer made an amused noise. "Not yet," he said, "But then I'm not much of a picnic-goer."

Seivarden snorted. "No, who wants to look at people digging their hands into food. I went there to greet my new roommate. But Summer's school-assigned friend stopped by on Monday, quite confused."

"I don't care about the food, I just don't want to deal with the little monsters," Lucifer clarified, and sipped his fancy beer from his solo cup. "Confused how? About landing themselves on a random backwater?"

"Ah, yes, your dislike of children," Seivarden said. "No, he refused to believe in zombies and started rambling when I brought up space travel."

"Give it another week," Lucifer said decisively, "He'll either settle in or run screaming."

"Well, yes, of course," Seivarden said. "He was just particularly entertaining, especially as the zombies were actually playing at the time."

She added: "It says a lot about this place that that is the entertainment though."

"It makes mockers of us all," Lucifer said merrily. "And zombie... avoiders."

Seivarden finished her winter margarita jello shot.

"Oh, by the way, I meant to ask you, if I want to send someone good Earth music, what would be a good choice?"

She added: "I realise it might be a difficult question."

"Depends on their taste," Lucifer pointed out.

"If they like most genres and it should just be something good?" Seivarden said.

"Never mind, that's too difficult, isn't it?"

"There's always the recent classics," Lucifer mused. "Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, the Beatles if she's too sincere..."

Seivarden wrote the names down on her phone. Obviously she didn't think that Breq would let her come home just because she sent her some music, but it would mean she had a reason to get in touch. It might backfire though, so she would have to consider it a bit more.
