"Where are all the glasses?"

Upon realizing that it seemed that all the glassware seemed to be entirely MIA at the bar that evening, Summer's accusing eyes went almost immediately to Tino, who shrugged and insisted that he had nothing to do with it! They were all there yesterday! He should know, because he was stacking them all!

Summer narrowed her eyes at him a little after that, now wondering if the glassware had decided to take a hike out of pure self-preservation until Tino managed to get whatever stacking urges he was having lately out of his system.

"You just better hope it's all back by tomorrow," she said. "I am not taking the fall for this."

And at least they had plenty of red solo cups!

"I spent about a week on a boat," Lucifer offered, "Nudity was involved, so I can't complain."

"Well then things are looking up for you," Jessica said with a small smile. "That must have been some boat."

"It's a rusty mess Duke insists is that way intentionally," Lucifer said.

He clearly had his doubts about it.

The small smile quirked a little more at Lucifer's response. "I have a hard time seeing you floating around the ocean in a rusty mess. He must be a real good time," she teased.

"Between him and Octavia, I kept pleasantly busy, yes," Lucifer said. "Literally between them."

He took his solo cup and saluted her.

(Look, talking about the squishy bits was just not going to happen in this setting. You were welcome, Miss Jones.)

"The last time we talked you were bemoaning the celibate life," Jessica said.... almost as if she were starting to tease him but at the last moment her expression changed and it became somewhat sincere.

"I'm glad you found a way to be happy."

And then took a chug from her bottle because that was too sappy for her to even admit.

Lucifer snorted softly. "My life is still tremendously complicated," he said, sipping from his cup. "I assure you."

Like how he didn't know what he was going to do if Chloe called and he was desperately trying not to think about it.

“I’m sure it is,” Jessica said with some sympathy. A little. Not a lot. “But if life was perfect you wouldn’t have something to complain about to me. And that would throw our dynamic off and then where would we be?”

"Fair enough," Lucifer said, grinning at her. "Well, consider my celibacy streak ended, at least. We'll take that off the complaints list."
