Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

You know one thing Rey loved and didn't get nearly enough time with? The rock wall on the training course. It was toward the end, so something that she didn't get to as often if she screwed up before then, and if someone came in she typically ended up skipping it.

So once she got here, she ran the course, and then was spending some time working muscles that didn't get used as much these days on the wall. Making your own fun was really one of the benefits of showing up early.

Silver--down one crutch but up one heavy coat--showed up in the early afternoon to visit Rey. He was still walking a little stiffly with the new leg but at least he had gotten the balance thing down.

"That looks exhausting."

He looked up at the wall and came to the conclusion that was something he would not be trying, even with two legs.

"The good kind," she said, glancing down at him before pulling herself up a little more. "I'll be down in a minute."

"Take your time. The view is actually pretty nice from down here," he teased.

"It's unfair to flirt with me right now," she called.

It was not.

Silver smiled. "Oh I know you are far too talented to be thrown off by a little flirting."

"You're making it sound like a challenge," Rey laughed.

"I'm merely confident in your skill," Silver said. "That would be a challenge I'd hate to win anyway."

"No. You really wouldn't."

But when she reached the top, her feet firmly on the wall and a good grip with her right hand, she did let go with her left so she could turn a little and wave at him.

Totally showing off.

Silver smiled and waved back at her. "See? Talented."

"Thank you," she smiled, and let go with her other hand, using the Force to cushion her landing because that would be a dumb way to break both ankles.

That wasn't showing off, that was her needing actual practice at that.

"Hi."

Even if she wasn't showing off, Silver was duly impressed.

"Hi," he said, leaning in for a kiss. "I'm not interrupting, am I?"

"You're not," she assured him, kissing him back. "That was just for fun."

"You and I have some different ideas of fun," Silver said. Then he smiled. "Well, mostly."

"Hello up there," Anakin said, sounding amused.

"Hi," she said, looking down. "I started a little backwards today."

"It looks fun," Anakin said with a grin.

"Have you tried doing just this part yet?" Rey asked.

[sith_happened]

"Only when I installed it," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"I recommend it," she told him, reaching the top and pulling herself up so she could sit.

Very mature Jedi Masters do not say "wheeee!" any more but Anakin's grin pretty much said "wheee!" anyway as he shrugged out of his robe and headed for the rock wall.

Rey laughed, moving so that she could get a better view from up here.

Anakin was a little out of practice from his climbing sheer cliff faces because he was getting shot at days but he was still pretty quick at getting up the wall and joining her.

"If you're getting bored with this, I can set the grips further apart so you can only reach them through the Force," Anakin offered.

"I'm definitely not bored," she assured him. "Maybe you can move some of them. I just like doing this every once in a while."

"It stretches different muscles," Anakin agreed, smiling.

"It does. And I actually just like it sometimes," Rey said. "Different perspective."
