Caritas, Monday

After a busy, if enjoyable, weekend, with the party on Saturday and Prompto hosting a Puppy Bowl gathering in her apartment, Seivarden was in a good mood. For some reason she picked this to be a beer night.

She didn't particularly like beer herself, but a lot of people did, so she arranged a display of the selection available behind the bar. Those who wanted draught would have to ask Tino.

Today's special
Beer. Any kind.

Tisarwat was feeling a little bored and restless, and, realizing she hadn't been doing a very good job of keeping an eye on Seivarden like Breq had asked her to, she decided she'd stop into the bar that evening.

"Seivarden." She nodded.

Yup. Still very weird and awkward.

"How's it going?"

"Nothing on my end," Tisarwat admitted with a sigh that she hoped would prompt Seivarden to share if it was any different for her, as she slid into a seat to get comfortable. "Not since Breq's last visit, anyway."

"I don't suppose they've started stocking attack back there yet, have they?" Tisarwat asked with a faint smile.

Obviously, the thought of Seivarden serving her a drink was strange, but it didn't strike her how strange until actually faced with it.

A part of her was definitely going to revel in it, though.

Tisarwat took note of Seivarden's smooth delegation there, and already started wondering if she should bring Summer or Lucille to distract Tino and leave her without an opening next time.

"I've had beer," she answered, with a grin that suggested you couldn't go far at all around here without having had beer. "My first week here, I actually tried a little bit of all the different kinds of alcohol."

It had NOT been a fun morning after that, though she did discover the benefit of friends with healing powers soon after.

"Beer is fine."

"I've been learning how to play piano," Tisarwat offeres, which didn't sound like much, but it was something. "And reading through a lot of literature from this planet's so-called Victorian era. And keeping things in order at the music shop keeps me busy, too. We may have a sentient cord monster now. It's taken over the basement.

"...you?"

Sorry, Tisarwat needed a moment to even conceptualize the idea of Seivarden cooking.

"That's who Summer's party was for this weekend, isn't it?" she asked, in the meantime.

Especially from Seivarden. Tisarwat's brows lifted, part surprised, part impressed.

"I did notice he was wearing gloves when he came in," she noted. "Though they looked pretty...decadent."

As far as she could tell from where she'd been, and now she wished she'd have gone and spoken to him.

Especially not after Mercy of Kalr...

"I have to admit," said Tisarwat, who couldn't ignore the pang of longing she had gotten surprisingly good at suppressing over they years, that no wade her wonder if that was why she avoided Seivarden more now, it made it more palpable now that their loss was shared, "moving in with Lucille after Breq left was a smart move. We Radchaai are far too social to be left on our own."

Sure. That was one way to spin it, Tisarwat.
