Caritas, Monday
After a busy, if enjoyable, weekend, with the party on Saturday and Prompto hosting a Puppy Bowl gathering in her apartment, Seivarden was in a good mood. For some reason she picked this to be a beer night.
She didn't particularly like beer herself, but a lot of people did, so she arranged a display of the selection available behind the bar. Those who wanted draught would have to ask Tino.
Today's special
Beer. Any kind.
[Open, no OCD.]

"Seivarden." She nodded.
Yup. Still very weird and awkward.
"How's it going?"

On the other hand, wasn't that what Tino was here for?
"Not too bad? And yourself? Any news from home?"

"Something to drink?" she asked, because they were in a bar, after all.

Obviously, the thought of Seivarden serving her a drink was strange, but it didn't strike her how strange until actually faced with it.
A part of her was definitely going to revel in it, though.

"Sadly no. Have you ever tried beer? A lot of people here like it."
In case Tisarwat hadn't noticed.

"I've had beer," she answered, with a grin that suggested you couldn't go far at all around here without having had beer. "My first week here, I actually tried a little bit of all the different kinds of alcohol."
It had NOT been a fun morning after that, though she did discover the benefit of friends with healing powers soon after.
"Beer is fine."
no subject
"So, have you found anything interesting to do around here?"
no subject
"...you?"

Seivarden assumed Tisarwat wasn't playing it without gloves, in which case she felt it could just as well be some kind of euphemism.
"I work here, I go to the gym, I come here on Wednesdays to talk to Summer. Oh, and Ignis, my roommate is teaching me how to cook."
no subject
"That's who Summer's party was for this weekend, isn't it?" she asked, in the meantime.
no subject
Tisarwat knew how to take that the right way.

"I did notice he was wearing gloves when he came in," she noted. "Though they looked pretty...decadent."
As far as she could tell from where she'd been, and now she wished she'd have gone and spoken to him.
no subject
Although sometimes revealing gloves were more distracting than mere bare hands, not that Seivarden ever looked a bit too closely when Ignis was showing her how to chop things.
"I get along with him quite well, though, and I'm not used to living on my own."
no subject
"I have to admit," said Tisarwat, who couldn't ignore the pang of longing she had gotten surprisingly good at suppressing over they years, that no wade her wonder if that was why she avoided Seivarden more now, it made it more palpable now that their loss was shared, "moving in with Lucille after Breq left was a smart move. We Radchaai are far too social to be left on our own."
Sure. That was one way to spin it, Tisarwat.

They had spoken back when Lucille had taken over the shop, but that felt like such a long time ago.
