So of course Summer had celebrated yesterday's very important and totally national holiday (look, if Apu could lose his shit over bananas, she should be allowed at least one totally made-up holiday to get way too into for herself, right?), which meant pretty much getting blazed out of her mind with her cat, as was tradition, and while she was in that state of mind, she was apparently pretty inspired, because she got up the next day to find her fridge already filled with jello shots for her shift that evening and they were...

...well...

We'll say thematic.

She almost thought about tossing the whole lot because why ohgod, but then she figured it wouldn't hurt to at least bring them in and see what reactions they got and who might actually be willing to try them. And she had enough time to whip up at least a few more normal ones, too.

Honestly, Summer is kind of impressed by her apparently productiveness last night, because she could have sworn she'd just spent most of it slumped on the couch, but okay.

"I think maybe I've been spoiling you all too much with good ones," Summer pointed out, following Seivarden's eyes for a moment and then turning back with a sort of apologetic expression.

"I think we need to put someone in charge of removing all gelatin from my apartment whenever I plan on getting really fucking high..."

Seivarden gave a tense laugh. "Proof of the dangers of drugs."

She paused. "I think I'm just going to stick to the normal ones today if you don't mind."

She crossed her arms, leaning slightly against the bar.

Seivarden earned a little bit of a look at the whole dangers of drugs thing, because Summer was pretty sure that pot hardly counted, but, at the same time, there was the glorious evidence staring them right in the face from her jello shot trays.

"And what if I do mind?" she then asked, because honestly, it was too good of an opening not to seize.

Only two of those very strange jello shots had meat in them but Stark was still eyeing the specials board with a slightly horrified look on his face.

And that actually managed to get a little sheepish wince out of Summer and she laughed in an attempt to look hopefully adorably apologetic about the whole thing.

"I may have gone a little too hard on the celebrations last night and apparently got a little....inspired." Sure, that's what they could call it. "I honestly barely even remember making half of these, they were just in my fridge this morning when I got up."

Look, Stark could mostly keep track of major holidays but unofficial ones weren't going to be noticed, much less celebrated.

"I'll take one of the Starburst ones. Please."

"Well," Summer offered, with a look at her handiwork as she tried to decide if attempting to explain would only make things more complicated, "altering substances were involved."

A pause.

"Very, very good ones, apparently."

But she nodded as she got the Starburst shot for Stark, confirming what she suspected when she'd decided to make that particular one, pretty much with him specifically in mind.

"But anyway," she said, because they could also just move on since that meant less thinking about how she thought Mountain Dew and Cool Ranch was a brilliant combination last night, too, "how was your week, Stark?"

"Ah." At least that was an explanation. "Were they really that good if they led to all this?"

As long as you had fun and didn't make Stark eat the tuna jello, Summer.

"The week has been quiet, mostly. Since the party." A couple of awkward conversations ensued, but mostly it was quiet! "And we had our last class this morning. And your week?"

"Yeaaaaahhhhh," Summer drawled out with her own lingering glance at that board, "last night was definitely...productive? Which, considering I don't even remember making more of these that much, also says a lot about what kind of night it was..."

She them gave Lucifer a faintly.wry smirk. "Don't suppose.you're up to trying them all tonight, are you?"

Outside of an appearance from Eleanor, she was pretty sure he'd be literally the only one.

"I have... concerns about the tuna fish dinner," Lucifer said, squinting at the menu. "...So I suppose we'll have to start with that one and I can always erase the taste with something else if I must."

"I'm already pouring some palate-cleansing whiskey," Summer assured him, although she wasn't, not yet, she had a lot of questionable shots (and three normal ones) to set out for him first.

"And, yeah, that one was totally inspired by my cat, so.....good call on that."

But she regretted nothing.

As she went and got Jesse said beer all the same.

"I promise they're normal," Summer insisted, although not without a lot of conviction because it wasn't as if she actually excepted Jesse to partake anyway, but she did have to at least mention that. "And it's not what's this week so much as what was yesterday."

A pause.

"I think waking up to a fridge full of fucked up jello shots is a pretty good indication of a very successful 4/20."

I cannot express to you all enough how much it made my day that the Flamin' Hot Cheetos one is an actual real thing. My inner Summer is CRYING with joy.
