Caritas- Tuesday
Tino had called off again tonight. Which, whatever, use your god-given vacation time and all, no problem.
At least, it wasn't a problem until the zombie band quieted down between songs and Kitty realized with no small amount of horror that she could tell Tino had a girl over at his apartment upstairs.
"All right, loud music tonight!" Kitty said. "Lots of really loud music!"
It would not work.
[I don't even remember whose fault this is. Erin's? I feel like it's Erin's. Anyway, open, share in the trauma.]

"Can I have something frozen?" Wanda asked, raising her voice to be heard over the music.
At least the blender would add to the noise.

And then she was rolling her eyes ceiling-ward with a frown of distinct recognition, once she heard it in a break between numbers. Gross, Tino.

Faye herself could relate, of course, and she'd be freeing the gremlin after...like, a few days, rather than decades.

"Why is the vibe in here so...weird today?" she asked.
Followed almost immediately by, "I'm going to regret asking that question, aren't I?"

She wouldn't normally be telling somebody else's business like that, but it was gonna be obvious between songs.
Good for him?

"I'm taking my beer to go," she declared, sliding right off the stool, "and heading ot the other bar."

Look at him, being nice and sharing ownership of Lucky with her. That was true love.
