Tino's decorating had (hopefully) reached its peak. There were fake cobwebs on everything, the spider piñata was still ha hung around, there was a skeleton holding an empty martini glass sitting in for the zombie drummer, and basically the bar looked like the garage of that one house in every neighborhood that made kids touch peeled grapes because they supposedly felt like eyeballs.

And that would be fine if the animatronic bat hadn't been joined by an animatronic spider and several animatronic witches, etc, so that Kitty could hardly move without something cackling at her.

Too far. This was too far.

"I try to avoid crowds, usually," Stark admitted. He got anxious about being surrounded by too many unknown people.

"Not usually a problem here. I didn't mean to come here the first time either but I've never been stuck. That does happen though. Not something I understand but it happens. There are much worse places to be stuck. Hopefully you'll like well enough."

"Yeah so far its been pretty good... now that I'm sticking around for a bit, I should probably line up some place to stay. Houseboat in winter isn't the best situation to be in and I'm honestly not a fan of the cold either" Billy said, rubbing the back of his head thoughtfully.

"I don't like the cold either," Stark said. "I've never lived on a boat but that sounds cold. I'm sure you can find something, somewhere, that will work better if you're staying."

He wasn't sure if there were empty apartments in his building. He didn't keep close track of his neighbors, with a notable exception.
