Maybe it was surprising, maybe it really actually wasn't that Summer seemed completely unaffected by having apparently been stuck in a time loop and generally losing a few days; like, it wasn't she'd have expected out of Fandom, but it wasn't anything new? Granted, this was a woman whose grandfather had a whole room dedicated to storing memories he'd extracted out of his family's head on a regular basis, so gaps were just sort of a thing.

She was mostly just glad that a) it hadn't messed with her bar shifts and b) she had a new excuse in her pocket for whenever she failed to make an appearance at home for holidays and stuff. Seriously, whoops, stuck in a timeloop, lol! could became a new classic.

Either way, she was also glad that those little elf guys were running around today, because some of her jello shots this evening (okay, one jello shot specifically) had really put her blender to the test that morning, but, look at that, as soon as it started to break down as if she was finally going a step too far in her crimes against jello and alcohol, there were the elves to fix it up again, almost shiny and new.

She doubted they would have as much luck with Tino.

"Yeah," she told them, watching them as they dedicatedly turned their hammers and tools on Tino's feet, "it's going to take way more than elf magic to fix that."

"The blue ones are pretty," Stark said, looking over the shots. And judging on where they were in the list they were probably safe!

"One of those and a butterscotch, I think. Hello, Summer."

"The blue ones are definitely my favorite," Summer admitted, unabashedly, with a certain soft, appreciative smile for those ones in particular, before she went and got one of them and the butterscotch ones for Stark and set them in front of him.

"And hello, Stark. How are you feeling, after the weekend?"

"Glad the weekend ended," Stark said firmly, picking up the blue shot and downing it. "I wasn't sure it was going to. People kept dying and it felt wrong. How are you?"

"Oh, I'm fine," Summer assured Stark, with conviction and a small shrug to indicate just how little the weekend seemed to have affected her. "Honestly, I just spent most of my Friday looking for New Years outfits and then going to the DN, so, yeah, even though I didn't remember it....it just kind of felt like a big long party weekend. Most of those I don't really remember, anyway. But, yeah, definitely didn't have to deal with anyone dying on my end, so, you know, I may have gotten off pretty easily."

And, because she couldn't refuse good gossip, she had to ask, "So who died? Everyone's okay now, though, right?"

"Travis, twice, when I was there," Stark said, sighing. "There were others but I wasn't there but I knew about it and there were some on the radio but they might have been the same ones. I think everyone is fine now? I haven't heard that they aren't. I'm just glad that's done."

"Oof," said Summer, her expression softening a little, because she knew how sensitive Stark was...especially to that kind of thing, and now she felt a little bad about being kind of gossipy about it. "But, yeah, I think I might have lucked out with this one, in not being able to remember and obsessed with finding the perfect New Years Eve outfit so I pretty much stayed inside e-shopping all day before I gave up to just go get my drink on at the DN."

"It might have been easier not remembering," Stark said, frowning a little. "I'm not sure. But I did. Did you find yourself something to wear, at least?"

Fancy outfits were better conversation than deaths even impermanent ones.
