Devil's Nest | Thursday Evening
So, something was clearly going on today, considering Annie had been in and out of both of her uniforms at random all day, and had watched Diego go through the same thing. (Had it been nice when he'd randomly had no shirt but added boxing gloves? Yes, but that didn't make it any less weird, thanks for asking, narrative.)
Almost immediately upon getting to work, though, she found herself in her usual I'm Not Famous, Seriously get-up, and irritably pulled her sunglasses down her nose so she could at least write the specials board.
~*Specials*~
Beer?
She could make other things, but right now her confidence that she'd be able to complete a mixed drink before doing something weird and unpredictable was pretty shot.
[flying OCD free because it's that kind of day, and offscreen Diego changes modded with permission!]

He looked at the specials board.
"Beer?" he asked, with a snort and a skeptical look at the bartender. "Really? What's so special about beer?"
You were ten, Gladio. Get over yourself.

And that was Annie flipping off Tiny. But it's okay -- Hughie and Mother's Milk were here now, for some reason, and maybe one of them could get a beer for the child?
Oh, yikes, no.
"Maybe a soda, little dude?"

He didn't seem to bothered by it, though, leaning forward a little as he lifted a hand and waved with a grin.
"Sorry, Annie," he said, "don't mind that, I've been in and out of my kid self all day."

GREAT LOOK, REY.

Apparently, Gladio was a fan. Or at least he was pretty charmed by Rey's approach, as all of a sudden, he was definitely not too young at all to be there, and was leaning on the bar with a hand to his cheek, looking over at Rey and her staff adoringly.
"Is that so?" he asked, grinning broadly and really appreciating the aggression there.

She looked pretty worried/uncomfortable when she did, though. "Beer?"
Apparently it was worrisome.

"What is even happening?" She knew what was happening, but apparently right now she was ultra confused by it.

So when Dwight had gon through three random outfit changes in the course of his walk over from his apartment, he knew it was gonna be one of those extra weird days. He had debated jsut locking himself in the shop for the day but realized that might not bas as productive as he hoped. And odds were it was going to happen to other people too.
So, there he was in one oft he few dressy suits he wore as he walked in and sat at the bar.
"Beer please. Definitely a beer!" he said with a shake of the head and a smile to Annie.

someone had enough characters hereher earlier encounter with Margo at Pick Your Poison would have been enough to convince Amaya that today was the kind of day best spent safely tucked away upstairs with the lobsters and a good book, but nope, she was ambling on into Caritas instead, not really paying much attention to the crowd already gathered there, as she found a seat at the bar and sunk into it, leaning forward and just casting a sad sort of look down.no subject
