Summer wasn't usually one to drink while one the job (the occasional thrown-back jello shot or liquid shot when necessary to continue a conversation did not count), but when she got in to get everything set up for the evening before opening the doors and saw Tino making use of the space to twirl and spin around one of those plastic glowing lightsaber-esque toys, well....she had to take a few moments, mix herself up something, and then just sort of watch in mild fascination.

"So that's what you do with your spare time, huh?" she asked. "I swear to god, when you poke your eye out with that thing, I am going to laugh so hard."

And just for that, Tino looked like Summer was asking for her eye to be poked out with it if she wasn't careful.

And once he also pointed out the stripper pole in the back room now and what he could do with it, Summer almost wished he would poke both her eyes out now, thaaaanks.

It was an overly quiet and somewhat sober lunk of a man that slipped into the bar that evening. Dwight had spent most of the time post-weekend insanity in the shop. Pouring that.... whatever kind of energy it was.... into some projects. He wasn't really sure why he was there. Probably just a desire for a change of scenery. But whatever the reason, Dwight was there.

"Summer" he said with a slight nod as he sat down. "How's it going?"

Um, excuse you, clearly Dwight was there for the same reason everyone was: the amazing jello shots and the even better bartender!

"Well," Summer offered, giving Dwight a small smile, "Tino hasn't knocked over any of the glassware or even worse the bottles yet, so I'm going to go ahead and say so far, so good. How 'bout you? What can I get for ya?"

Well of course, that was a given. It was definitely taking the promise of amazing, and strong, jello shots to get him out of the shop right now.

"Something strong" Dwight said as he watched Tino somewhat cautiously for a moment.

It turned out Goose was needed for a mission back home tomorrow but that wasn’t going to stop him from stopping by the bar of course. There was a very real chance that he was going to be hung over for said mission but he was going to deal with that tomorrow.

"I will definitely have one shot of each," Goose declared with a grin as he made his way to his usual spot at the bar and read over the specials, "maybe an additional shot as well?" he said hopefully, "I have a mission back home to report to tomorrow so that should be enough right?"

His mission involved escorting telepathic dolphins to help try and find a mysterious stargate that could open a gateway to another universe, sometimes Goose wondered where Walsh found these missions.

Seriously, did Walsh pull from the same pool that Summer's grampa did for whacky space adventures? Something would have told Summer, though, that Walsh's intentions were slightly less psychotic than Rick's would have been.

Summer met that grin with one of her own as she started to set down the shots in a line for Goose. "Let's see how you feel," she said, "after the initial six."

Was she going to be using whether or not Goose still had his shirt on after six of the shots as a margin for whether or not he was good for a seventh?

Was there any other margin to use?

"How are ya, Goose? Do you know much about the mission yet, or is it pretty hush-hush top secret?"

Was this going to be potentially awkward, after last week? Liz wasn’t sure but she was trying to get better about being more social and not wanting to be by herself when Prompto wasn’t here so she thought she’d chance the bar again this week.

“Oh I think I’ll have to try some of those shots this week,” Liz said as she read the specials, someone was quite the fan of a certain franchise.

Summer was determined to make any further interactions with her multitude of partners over the last weekend as normal and not awkward as possible.

"Hey! Look at that!" she remarked when she saw Liz. "You're not super pregnant!"

Whether or not that was less awkward than it could of been was To Be Determined!

"And which ones would you like, Liz? Or are we going for the full set?"

"I don't even want to ask," Annie decided, eyeing the be-asterisked comment warily as she took her seat. "Busy week while I was gone."

She literally did not know the half of it, considering she just thought it was the stripper pole.

"Look," said Summer, "I'm just covering the legal bases because that thing seems like it could be a real liability, you know? And Annie....Annie..."

You knew it was good when she repeated and emphasized.

"You missed quite possibly the stupidest week ever."

She said stupid like it was a good thing, though.

Rey was fine and doing normal things like going to see Summer when she got back.

And she was maybe eyeing Tino with the lightsaber-sequel toy and saying, "He would definitely hurt himself doing that."

She could judge!

She was practically the judge, on this particular scenario, really.

Summer snorted. "I'm honestly still surprised he hasn't," she admitted. "Me and the zombie band have a pool going for how long it takes. So far, I have definitely lost that bet."

Then, she threw in a grin. "But how are you, Rey? What are we drinking tonight?"

Stark had considered not showing up tonight on account of possible (definite) awkwardness but eventually convinced himself he ought to come anyway. He could always flee back across the street if necessary, right?

Yeah, it was one thing to move past ghosting a pregnant lady after promising to massage her feet; it was kind of another to deal with making out with your friend during a wedding.

But, like, it also was definitely not the most awkward thing Summer had had to deal with. So she gave Stark a soft, totally normal, nothing-to-see-here sort of smile as she said, "Hey, Stark. What are we getting you tonight?"

Jon definitely struck her as the type of person who just loooooooved surprises.
