Summer was just going to look at Tino for a long, loooong moment, in a effort to save herself the trouble of using her actual words, but when he just continued to look at her hopefully, she sighed.

"No," she informed him, clear and concise. "You cannot just throw all my jello shots into a blender with some ice and make jello shot slushies. For one thing, I am sick of slushed beverages for probably at least a few more weeks, and for another thing, look at them. They're pieces of art. Do you really want to destroy my art?"

To which he made a counterpoint that could only be countered in return with, "You're not an anarchist, Tino, you're just an idiot."

So, if anyone wondered why Summer had pooled all the blenders to where she could see them and was keeping a particularly close watch on her shots tonight, that's why.

Goose had been trying to not spend all his time working on his communicator and try and distract himself even though his class on Friday had reminded him about certain emotions and how much he was missing Ignis right now, so he was feeling a bit more dejected when he came up to his usual spot spot on the bar.

Even though letting off those fireworks yesterday in class had been a fun distraction.

“What’s wrong with the blenders?” he asked, curiously tilting his head over at them.

"Tino wants to use them," Summer said simply.

And, to her, really, that should have been enough for anyone. Anything predicated with 'Tino wants to...' should be a red flag and a warning, but, since he'd gone and made it personal, she did elaborate, slightly, after sending another glare over toward her coworked.

"On my jello."

And then something of that ire did slip toward Goose next, because she felt that if there was anyone who would be overly enthusiastic about a jello shot slushie, it would be this guy, and if he possessed even the slightest bit of self-preservation, he would do well to forget about that idea right here and now.

“Oh,” Goose blinked and in a very rare moment of self preservation decided to not mention anything about how he would be curious to see what a slushie jello shot would be like.

Also because Summer was reminding him a lot of Niko when she got angry and Niko terrified him when she lost her temper, he really didn't want to see what Summer would be like.

“Why would he want to do that?” he said instead, “your shots are amazing as they are,”

Yes that was a shameless attempt at flattery there.

Shameless flattery, especially in moments such as these, was almost always appreciated, and Summer gave a small, almost impressed nod, because that was a surprisingly smart tactic on his part, and she was honestly a little proud to see it.

"That's right," she said, "they are, plus, look at them!"

It was at this point that Summer started setting them all out for Goose, not only to admire them, but also to enjoy them, because they both knew he would be having all of them.

"I put a lot of work into making them look all fancy and nice and on theme today, and he wants to just throw them in a blender. It's downright barbaric."

Dr. Lecter had said that Liz didn’t have a curfew and she hadn’t gone out last week but she figured if she wasn’t out for very long it wouldn’t hurt if she stopped by the bar.

She also figured that she should really try and socialise in the evenings now because when the baby came she wasn’t going to be really able to do that. So she was going to try very hard to have at least one evening where she wasn’t stressed about her future and hopefully not break down crying in the process.

“Um I don’t suppose you do non alcoholic shots?” she asked as she made her way up to the bar.

"I do actually have non-alcoholic shots!" Summer reported cheerfully. "Added bonus to a bestie and a boyfriend who don't really like to drink much, I always have a few virgin spares to the side. So I guess I can add you to the list of teetotalers for the time being, too. Which ones you want to try?"

Liz looked over the specials, "I think maybe I'll try the s'mores?" she decided, "and ..." there was a pause and she looked back up, "which other ones would you recommend?"

"Oh," said Summer, without a moment's hesitation after setting down a S'mores one for Liz, "Bird of Paradise, definitely. I mean, just look at it." She held it up with a proud little smile before setting it down to join the S'mores one. "It's a work of art. I'm running a bet with myself to see how many people say 'It's almost too pretty to eat-slash-drink!' on that one."

Summer's hands just went up, as either an expression of ignorance or as an attempt to free herself of any sort of culpability in any of this.

"Tino being the worst, apparently," she declared, "so nothing new. He wants to slushify my jello shots."

If anyone else had asked, they might have gotten a much different look, but since it was Annie and Summer knew her bartending style, the look she was getting was one of warning.

"We are not," she informed her. "Especially not Tino."

And since she really liked the line after using it with Rey and figured it really was the best way to describe the current situation, she added, "He's trying to slushify the jello shots, Annie!"

"No!" Annie was appropriately -- honestly, maybe a little inappropriately, given the level of her concern -- horrified, and shot a disgusted look Tino's way. "What are you gonna do next -- put, like, the Mona Lisa and Starry Night in a blender, too?"

Even if she did like slushies.

"I'll kill the power if he sneaks one," she promised Summer.

"Did Tino break the blenders last night?" he asked, looking at them curiously. That seemed like the sort of thing Tino might have done while overzealously trying to promote his special last night.

"Hello, Stark," said Summer, with the heavy, put-upon sigh of a woman on the edge of possible co-worker-icide. "And I wish he had broken them, because then I wouldn't have to confiscate them so that he doesn't use them on my jello."

If Tino had to be murdered it was probably for the best that Stark was there to deal with it, really.

"Jello doesn't go in blenders," Stark said, giving Tino a very odd look. "That's not the point of jello." Tino, why were you like this?
