In Tino's defense, he couldn't know why that delivery showed up. They got weird things all the time here. Who even blinked an eye at this point.

UNDYING RESPECT IF YOU KEEP DRINK/KEEP DOWN MEAT SELTZER

You know who's blink an eye? Kitty. .

"No. No. We're not doing meat seltzer specials. What we need to do is take this out back and burn it," Kitty said.

This made no sense to Tino, who grabbed a pack of the seltzers and a lighter anyway and started to head into the alley.

"Don't take that seriously!"

The specials today were chaos, apparently.

Rosa had never thought of herself as someone who needed to be concerned about her vision, but sitting down at her usual spot was making her question that right now.

"I'm sorry," she said, "does that say meat seltzer?"

Sometimes, it just didn't hurt to verify.

"It's Oscar Mayer," Kitty sighed. "I didn't order it."

Take note, squirrels! Take god damn note!!

"But..." said Rosa, after a moment, "you're still serving it?"

And now that the concern about her vision proved to be a moot point, she now had to consider...her morals.

"No, I've been busy stopping Tino from starting a bonfire with it to take it off the board, which was my fault, it's a bad night."

However if someone wanted it, Tino would absolutely serve it.

Rosa looked like she was about to ask another question, had gone so far as to open her mouth and take that inhale of breath that would turn into words, but then...thought much, much better of it, and, instead, asked, "So can I buy the bartender a drink tonight, too?"

One more lingering moment on the board. "Or a few?"

"Thanks, but it's okay. I feel like I have to have my wits about me tonight."

For meat seltzer related reasons. Ugh what was her life today.

"I'll have two drinks, then," Rosa offered, "one on your behalf."

And knowing the question of what was likely to follow, she then added, "Whatever you feel is the complete polar opposite of...." A (probably unnecessary) nod toward the specials board. "Those."

"The opposite of those would be literally anything that tastes good," Kitty said. She had not tried it.

"Then you've got plenty of options," said Rosa, with a smirk. "But I guess you can't go wrong with whiskey."

"That is in fact a very opposite thing," Kitty said, turning to get a glass. "Maybe next week will be normal."

"Nothing here is ever normal," Rosa pointed out. "In fact, if it ever is normal, everyone's suspicious of it because of how not normal it is."

"I'm okay being suspicious for a week," Kitty pointed out, sliding over her drink.

"Considering meat seltzer," said Rosa, catching the drink easily and taking a moment to just let that phrase linger before lifting that glass gratefully and...

Well, if they were going to be talking about being suspicious, there may have been a subtle sniff for any potential meatiness before she took a sip.

"....I don't think anyone can blame you there."

"There is no meat seltzer in your drink," Kitty said, a touch defensively.

"It's not that I don't trust you," Rosa assured her, wondering if she really needed to start cataloguing all the times what one got in their cups or through their taps around here didn't necessarily match up perfectly with what was intended to be in there.

Kitty thought about that, and sighed. "I'm going to be checking everything now."

"I thought you said you were okay with being suspicious for a week," Rosa noted, failing to hide her smirk in her glass.

"About normalcy, not whether there's carbonated meat juice on my stuff!"
