Groovy Tunes; Thursday [09/29].
Well....the stereo was doing the thing again, where it had one song in particular that it was playing significantly more than anything else, no matter what Tisarwat tried to do, so she was either feeling like she did not have enough tea on hand or she really should spend the day product-testing noise-cancelling headphones.
"Waking you up," Tisarwat eventually informed the stereo, after maybe the twentieth time it played the song, giving it a withering look over her mug of tea, "implies that you were ever sleeping to begin with, which you're clearly not, or else I'd have some peace and quiet and respite around here."
After which point, the stereo did in fact go silent, the quiet felt almost startling by comparison, and Tisarwat was left wondering if that should be something she should be worried about. Granted, of course, she was used to AI and knew that some of them did, in fact, develop personalities and agency, but that was back home. She wouldn't trust an AI from this planet as far as she could throw it...

She waved cheerily at the person in the store and just stood there a moment to take it all in.

"The stereo and I are having a bit of a fight," she admitted, with regards to how quiet it was in here, and as for the rest?
"And we probably do," she said. "Everything's arranged alphabetically by genre, so feel free to browse and if you don't find what you're looking for, we can probably order it.
"Would you like some tea?" she then asked, as if brushing the cobwebs off the customer service part of her brain, gesturing toward her tea pot.

She looked around the store and nodded. "I can easily see myself spending way too much money here. Especially if you can order things. Hey, can you even order things, like... from other worlds?"
The tea question distracted her though, "Oh yes, tea, sure, that would actually be really nice. I'm Charlie by the way."

"I'm Tisarwat," she then offered, as she came around from behind the counter to hand over the cup and saucer. "I run this place, although I'll be the first to admit, I don't know a whole lot about music. Ordering things from other worlds isn't usually a problem, though, with the nexus, although there's sometimes trouble with it. This place likes to arbitrarily block certain dimensions, which makes some of it difficult. We can always try, though."

She took the cup and saucer. "Nice to meet you, Tisarwat. I, on the other hand have been accused of spending too much time learning about music. And I don't have anything particular in mind, I was just curious." Because when was she ever not curious?

And yet somehow, they stayed in business, but it was definitely one of those Fandom things that she stopped questioning a long, long time ago.

She'd let Rosa go hog-wild on the painting on the walls and just leaned into it by giving the decor more of a 'futuristic' space vibe. Her apathy about what happened in this place short of it being burned down knew no bounds.
But she did have a brief thought that, after she took a sip of her own tea, she threw out there, just in case.
"We may or may not have a monster made of tangled headphone cords living in the basement, though," she said. "Would that be a problem?"

Despite what Troy would claim.

She considered for a minute. "Oh, give me the official tour and then I'll wander." It didn't sound like much was off limits here which was pretty awesome, no lie. She assumed that the tour would give her an idea of anything she really couldn't do.
