Pizza Planet, Friday
Raiden was reasonably certain he had not ordered this many potatoes. He was reasonably certain nowhere that wasn't one of those spiral potato on a stick places at the fair (oooh, he could really go for one of those right now) needed to order this many potatoes.
It was cool, though. Potatoes were delicious, and you could totally put carbs on carbs if you weren't a coward.
"Have the vendors always been this flaky?" he asked one of the staff as he ran potatoes through a mandoline. "Is it because we're on an island?...What do you mean, 'Just wait'?" Hadn't the scrapple been enough?
Specials
Sweet Potato & Kale Pizza
Potato Pizza with Creme Fraiche & Bacon
Baked Potato Pizza
Pizza Planet is open.

Because Steve was an otter.
"I can't believe I'm asking this, but do you have any seafood pizzas?"

Excuse him while he died at the cuteness of Otter Steve. Okay, he was back. "Seafood pizza, let me think...we don't have any on the regular menu, although maybe we should, with this bein' an island and all. But I've done a couple of specials and we might still have some crab in the freezer? Or maybe some tuna. I could throw something together. I can check?"

"The specials are intriguing," Rey decided.

But all of a sudden, potatoes on a pizza kind of sounded great? (There were probably very few things you could put on a pizza that wouldn't be great, right?)
(...right?)

"It's delicious!" Raiden promised her. "Hi, welcome to Pizza Planet!"

He was not acting or talking like either of the Thors she had met, but that didn't mean much. And she felt like she would have heard about it if Thor moved to town.
(Annie really had missed a lot the past few months, yes!)

A few years from now he would meet a demon hunter named Thor who looked a lot like Tom Hiddleston, but that was just a human guy.

"Now, Jane I don't know," Annie admitted, frowning in thought and deciding no, she did not know a Jane. "But two different friends of mine had versions of Thor show up for an event last year, and you are the spitting image, dude. Raiden, I mean."
But with shorter hair. And not as much of a cape situation, which was sort of a shame. Annie loved a cape.
"Annie, hi," she added, remembering her manners and moving over to extend a hand. "It's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you, too!" Raiden said as he enthusiastically shook her hand. "Jane's a Thor, too. Not the one I look like, that would be weird. Although I guess a guy could be named Jane, too...anyway, the Thor I look like is her ex and now she has powers so she's also Thor? Something to do with her magic hammer. I think I got that right. Anyway. Were you interested in ordering one of the specials?"
no subject
She shook her head, as though to clear it, and addressed the more pressing question at hand. "You know what, Raiden, I think I would love to order one of the specials. Which one's your favorite?"
When in doubt, ask someone more experienced in the art of potatoes on pizza.
