Well, it looked as though that auto-jello-maker machine from Barry was getting a lot of use lately, as Summer had personally taken it upon herself to ensure that there was no leftover sangria after her sangria night with Rey last night, and, boy, were there some regrets.

Well, not regrets, per se. She knew what she was doing. But it definitely did not leave her in a good state to make fancy jello shots for this evening, because she was electing to nap all day instead, and she was still feeling pretty groggy and headachy when she got up that....afternoon, when she had to irritatingly send a text back to Apu that pretty much said that of course she knew what today was.

Which is why, she felt, the simplistic jello shots thanks to the jello-maker were fine, because they were celebrating their roots today. Or something.

Annie had basically given Wanda the okay to show up at the bar on Wednesdays again, and that is what she was doing tonight.

"Hey, Summer," Wanda greeted as she took a seat. "...are you okay?"

And Summer, who hadn't really seen or talked to Wanda in a very long time, especially not since everything that did go down between her (no, wait, sorry, between BOB and Annie, ahem), as far as she could recall, just sort of met that with a lift of her eyebrows.

"I would like all four of the ones that aren't celery," Annie greeted Summer as she slid (correction: hefted herself up) onto a barstool, frowning as she got a better look. "How was your weekend?"

She looked hungover to Annie's discerning eye, and the weekend seemed like it had done a real number on some people, so. Detective Annie, back at it again!

"Ugghh," was Summer's response, which should be another big clue for Detective Annie over here, and she also sighed a little as she dutifully plucked up a set of the virgin shots to then move over to in front of Annie. "Yours?

"Also," she added, because sometimes you had thoughts you just wanted to get out to people, "I bet the celery one would actually be a pretty good compliment to, like, a bloody mary or something."

The lights in here were too bright and her head was pounding whenever she moved it too quickly and she was apparently irritated at even the slightest rub tonight, but still, she met Steven's greeting with a smile, albeit a small one. "Pretty good," she said. "How are you? Are we sticking with the usual tonight?"

"Hello, Stark," Summer said, giving him a faint smile and remembering another reason why she was probably so irritable tonight. "I'm fine. Rey and I got together for sangria last night, that's all."

That should explain everything well enough, right? But her head tilted a little as she looked at him carfully.

"Evening, Summer" Connor said as he sat down at the bar. "Can I get a full round of jello shots?" he asked, likely still looking a bit rough around the edges after the weekend.

"Even the celery one?" asked Summer, who definitely was going to check on a week like this one where people were probably not paying as close attention and pretty much had their eyes on the booze of it all, as she started to dutifully start setting out some shots for Connor.

Raiden sure hoped there weren't rules about outside food in this bar (the zombie band suggested no, but you never knew) because after sparring in the park he'd gone back to his apartment and baked way too many peanut butter brownies.

Well. Raiden didn't really have the concept of 'too much,' but he'd made too many by any normal person's standards, and going by the amount on the plate he carried into Caritas with him, because it was always better to share. "Hey, does anybody want a brownie?...Also does anybody have a peanut allergy?" He frowned at the plate. "Probably should've thought of that sooner..."

"Eh," Summer waved a hand almost dismissively, as she tried to decide if her hangover would be helped or heightened by eating something rich as a brownie, "if they are, maybe it'll give the firefighters something to do by flexing some of their EMT muscles. But I'll definitely take a brownie. Swap you with a jello shot, maybe?"

Jon was still moving a bit gingerly as he sat down at the bar. He was largely healed, but he'd been one big bruise after the shenanigans, and then kept making it worse trying to walk so he didn't exacerbate it, so he was still stiff.
