Caritas; Wednesday [10/11].
"Pfft, pllah, pffft!"
Summer, shaking her head, tried to desperately brush the threads of spiderwebs off her face and off of her trays of jello shots as she came in and discovered the hard way that Tino did not, in fact, take Kitty's criticism about putting spiderwebs over the doorways to heart.
"Like," she said, "the back room, I understand, but the main door, Tino? How are people supposed to come in?"
Which was where he pointed out that, based on the numbers she'd been pulling these last few weeks, he didn't think that would be a problem.
"Wow, okay, harsh."
But, like, okay, true, but she wasn't going to let him have that one. She was just going to send him into the stock room to look for something she knew they didn't have, which would give her enough time to cover the door with spider webs to see how he liked it.
Which was why Tino, who apparently was into it, was now wearing spiderwebs the whole night.

The Stage - 10/11.
Re: The Stage - 10/11.
He felt a need to do a cover song or two, somewhere his new friends couldn't hear him.
So he got up on stage before he bothered to go to the bar. Got the zombies going, clutched the microphone behind his hands, and let the moodiness of his voice do the work.
"Well I dreamed that I was running, through a wilderness of plenty
And I could hear the hunt behind me, getting closer, getting closer
And I knew that the end was coming and I wished that it was over
Bring me the snowfall, bring me the cold wind, bring me the winter..."
It was good for him, to be in his feelings like this for a moment. Let it out. Always had been, really, whenever he'd gotten up on the Caritas stage back when he worked here, during the quiet hours. He just hadn't been able to admit it.
"... For I fear the age of consequence and I wish that it was over ..."

Good to see anyone drop in these days, really.
Excuse Summer a moment as she was distracted by a rimshot from the stage that she was going to convince herself was just random and not a worrying new thought that the zombies might be psychic.
That would explain their extensive music catal--nope, not even going there, just mixing a nice drink now, and that was all there was going to be to that train of thought.

All he knew was that he had a class that was determined to not allow any answers to ever be enough. Which made sense, given the subject.

"Hello, Summer," he said, smiling softly. "Can I see the jello now?"
Re: The Bar - 10/11.
And that would be Summer now backing up to the specials board and putting a hand up to cover the list of jello specials as best it could which, really, wasn't that much at all.
"Nope."
Come on, he practically walked right into that one.

And Jane was given an exasperated look that only those who worked with Tino could truly understand, which meant there was some gratitude in there, too, for the fact that, thank god, someone truly understood.
"But, hey, Jane. How's it going? And what can I get for you that hopefully will not end up covered in spiderwebs?"

Summer was a little wide-eyed at that realization and watching it pretty much happen in real time and she shook her head. "Totally and completely, one-hundo-percent that guy," she promised, hitching a thumb toward Tino in case Nancy needed help knowing who to blame, "and yeah, way too much is pretty much his M.O."
Her expression then turned slightly apologetic as she offered, "Get you a drink, though, to make it slightly better?"

"I kinda want to ask you for a product list," she sighed, eyes on his spiderweb-free -- but also, importantly, curly and luxuriant -- hair.
And then, in an acknowledgement of Anakin's advanced age and the fact she was pretty sure he was, like, in charge of the school, she added, "If that's not weird. Sir."
